Inside the Castle Walls

Craig woke up suddenly amidst the rubble and dust, he looked over and saw Maya lying down, most likely unconscious, while being pecked at by a curious mortimer, Craig got up and  went over to them, mortimer happily got on Craig's head, while Maya groaned painfully, and opened her eyes to see Craig standing over her she slowly got up and asked "where are We ? did you have anything to do with this ?!" Craig shook his head " im not sure where we are, all I remember is the Jeremy kid knocking down the castle and it falling on us... wait where is everyone ?" Craig responded before looking around unable to see anyone else "KELSEY ! J.P ! WHERE ARE YOU !" Craig looked for a way to contact them, he tried calling them, but they didn't answer, Maya tried to call Xavier as well, a Ringtone echoed across the halls of ruble and debris, it was like a maze, then the ringtone went quiet, "what are we going to do ?" asked Maya calmly looking for an exit with her eyes, the rubble was only making walls but not a ceiling, Craig also saw this and remembered the time mortimer went for help "Mortimer, go and look for the others, see if they are alright , go" Craig told mortimer who nodded as much as a budgie could nod, and took flight, once in the sky the tiny bird fluttered around the massive maze of debris it looked just like the maze of hedges across the creek, Craig watched from below, until Maya walked by him going deeper into the maze "where are you going ?" asked Craig  "I'm going to find the exit, I'm not going to lay around and wait to be rescued" answered Maya "wait up" yelled Craig as he catched up with Maya he was still suspicious of her, but getting out alive was more important right now.

meanwhile mortimer fluttered around the wreckage looking for signs of life among all the rubble, he spotted Kelsey's sword, laying by itself, he fluttered down, stood on it and pecked at it, no movement but he saw strands of orange hair below the pile of wood and some eyeglasses, Mortimer started chirping loudly and shrilly and making a racket to try to alert Craig of his place, but instead kelsey woke up hearing her usual alarm "be quiet mortimer, it's summer, we don't have to go to school" she said drowsily before remembering what happened, and got up quickly, punching through the debris which scared mortimer before recognizing the hand, and chirped happily, kelsey then dugged herself out and grabbed her sword before hearing Helen groan "Helen ? are you there ?" Kelsey shouted "yeah, you're stepping on me right now" Helen answered from below Kelsey "sorry I didn't know you were down there" Kelsey extended her hand "here let me help you up" Helen grabbed her hand and got out of the pile of rubble "are you alright ?" asked kelsey "yeah I'm fine, just surprised" answered Helen before looking around "where is everybody ?" "I don't know, let me call them" answered Kelsey before pulling out her phone and dialing Craig and J.P... only Craig answered "hello ?, Kelsey? are you there?" asked Craig over the phone "yeah we're alright" answered Kelsey "I'm here with Helen, how about you ?" "I'm here with Maya" answered Craig disappointed but immediately change his tone before saying "not that it matters because she is just as good as anyone... (!)" "she gave you a death stare didn't she" said kelsey slightly amused "anyways, do you know where JP is at ? I been trying to call him but he isn't answering" said Craig looking around "no... but maybe I can send mortimer to look for him !" answered Kelsey enthusiastically she grabbed Mortimer off of her head and talked to him "my brave companion, I ask of you to find our lost friend, for he requires our aid, now fly my brave falcon, fly like you never flown before !" she said in her usual brittish accent before she released him to look for JP, once again the tiny bird fluttered and chirped as he went to look for the missing friend, he flutered around the maze for a bit before something caught his attention, an orange piece of fabric  that was by a lump of debris, the lump moved and stood up, it was J.P.  Mortimer quickly flew down and landed on J.P's head, J.P looked up "hi Mortimer, how are you ?" Mortimer chirped in response "good to hear !, where are the others ?" J.P. asked while looking around he was in a dead end corridor, the only other soul he saw was Xavier, passed out  and half buried, who suddenly woke up screaming, scaring  both J.P. and Mortimer "MY LEGS ! WHERE ARE MY LEGS ! oh wait there they are" Xavier sighed with relief as he dusted himself before looking around "where am I ? was it all a dream ? oh good I'll get my servants to get me out of here, I knew a  kid creating earthquakes was just my imagination !" said Xavier as walking into a wall "oh yeah, it wasn't a dream, and your castle fell on top of us, but I think we are all fine, right Mortimer ?" said J.P, and Mortimer tweeted approvingly "nope, this is just another dream, and when I count to 3 I will wake up on my throne as if nothing has happened, because it never did !" said Xavier loudly as he began to count " 1! 2! 3!!" at the count of 3 Xavier opened his eyes only to see the same exact sight as before "welcome to the real world ! I hope you enjoyed your dream "  greeted J.P. Cheerfully, Xavier stood there, expressionless, before bursting into a tantrum "NO NO NO, MY CASTLE ! MY KINGDOM ! IT'S ALL GONE !" yelled the former king "IT CAN'T BE, I WORKED SO HARD BRAINWASHING THOSE MORONS INTO FOLLOWING ME FOR SOME RANDO TO JUST SHOW UP ONE DAY AND RUIN IT ALL, IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR !" bawled Xavier as he jumped up and down "it's not that bad, i'm sure you'll get it back soon there was this one time that I-" J.P. said before he got interrupted by his phone ringing, it was kelsey and Craig,  he answered Quickly "hello ? oh there's J.P.  Are you alright ?" asked Craig "oh yeah I'm alright, but I think Xavier might be having a meltdown" Xavier sobbed loudly and stomped his foot "it's not fair, I worked so hard to get all of this and now it's GONE !" Maya heard the fit through Craig's phone and grabbed it "Xavier, quit being such a drama queen dang it !" Maya yelled into the phone "we can just rebuild it later, we have to find a way out before sundown !" "b-b-but my castle" Xavier whispered tearfully into the phone "FORGET ABOUT THE CASTLE YOU BIG BABY ! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW !" yelled Maya so loud her voice echoed through the halls of the wreckage,  they all went quiet, until suddenly the ground shook, and a column of dust rose from the maze, before another voice echoed "IM A GENIUS !" then another rumble, and another column of dust rose again, Mortimer quickly took flight and went towards the racket, turns out  it was Jeremy and Will, Jeremy Rushed towards a wall and Smashed it open in a quick sweep while roaring "be careful you moron !, what if there are people on the other side !" said Will angrily as Jeremy smashed another wall "not my problem, I'm doing what I was born to do !" Jeremy said before turning around to face a wall "A REALLY BIG FRICKING HOLE COMING RIGHT UP !" he shouted before breaking yet another wall "hey dude, watch me break three walls in a row !" "no don't you-" said Will before stopping "actually, I'm intrigued, go ahead"  immediately Jeremy rushed at the wall breaking it, and the other 2 that came after, Will was genuinely surprised that Jeremy was able to pull of such feat, and it reminded him back when they were friends, before Jack's betrayal,  he missed those times, but he could not forgive being left alone, but still, nostalgia betrayed Will, he almost let out a smile before he heard another Wall was Crushed, except this time he heard surprised yelling, When Jeremy Opened the Wall he accidentally burst in through Maya and Craig, surprising them, but not hurting them, Will rushed over as quickly as possible "there you are !, I'm glad you are OK, I was worried I led you right into danger" said Will "are you alright ?" "yeah we're fine, why are you so worried about it?" asked Craig puzzled "well... I..." Will stutered "He doesn't like seeing others getting hurt in general" answered Jeremy flatly "he is just cheesy like that" "CHEESY ?!" Exclaimed Will playfully "Says the guy who puts a whole chicken wing in his mouth and slowly removes the bone from his mouth !" "hey at least I don't have posters of the bad guy from super Gino bros. all over my Room"  Answered Jeremy as playfully as Will, they both looked at each other for a second and laughed, before Maya interrupted them "will you guys hurry up we don't have all day !" Will an Jeremy stopped laughing "what a party pooper" said Will Flatly causing Jeremy to snort "hehe, pooper" his comment  also made Will snort and smile, but now Maya lost her patience "NOW !" "alright, alright we're going, holy carp" said Will "alright Jeremy give me a boost" "alright" Jeremy got into position and began counting "1, 2, 3!" at the count of three Will got thrown to the top of the Wall and then jumped down on the other side, it was clear, "alright it's clean" yelled Will "let me just- ACK !" Will exclaimed as he got thrown face first into the other wall by Jeremy's Club "-get out of the way... ouch." finished Will "sorry... not really, that was on you" said Jeremy sarcastically "you piece of carp"  whined Will weakly before jumping on his feet and dusting himself yet again, "alright let's try that again" said Will after cracking his knuckles and neck, he unsheated his fishing rod and casted it to the top of the wall, and climbed up the face of the wall, from there Will saw the destruction that they have brought upon this place, even if it wasn't directly Will's fault he couldn't help but feel a little guilty, after all, in the past he and his friends were there to prevent destruction like this from happening, but now he and his... past friend were responsible for this, but his train of thought was interrupted when he spotted movement, it was the Helen and the bird girl, he called out to them "Helen, uh... bird girl !" he caught their attention they both looked over, and tried to signal him something, but Will couldn't hear them, so he just turned around and looked down to Jeremy and asked "hey, bet you can't destroy 4 walls in a single rush" "alright then watch and learn !" shouted Jeremy as he tore through the walls, with every wall that crumbled the earth shook and trembled lifting a cloud of dust and pieces of wood flying, Kelsey saw the cloud of dust coming towards them "watch out !" she yelled at Helen as Jeremy tanked his way through the walls, they barely were able to get out of the way as Jeremy smashed through the wall and making an exit out of the ruins, everyone looked through the new path towards freedom incredulous at what had just happened, until Jeremy called out "are you going to stay in there for a while? because I have better stuff to do" everyone started heading outside before and mortimer fluttered down and landed on top of kelsey's head,
