"Soraru-saaaan~ Soraru-saaaaaan~ Wake up please?"

Groaning in response, the raven-haired merely shifted, showing that he was not going to stand up and wanted to be left in peace.

Yet the person kept being persistent, shaking him by the shoulder as he constantly called out to the other male.

After a while, the raven-haired male had enough as he opened his eyes, ready to give a piece of his mind to whoever just woke him up.

Upon opening his eyes, Soraru got to see a familiar zombie sitting in front of him, the raven-haired male's glare softening as he sighed before sitting up.

"What is it, Mafu? Please tell me, you have a good reason to wake me up right now. I just finished my assignment for human culture yesterday so now I'm dead inside.", the older male informed the younger as he rolled to the side, trying to go back to sleep.

The albino merely kneeled down so they were on eyesight as he continued to speak, knowing that the older male would still spare a few minutes for him before falling back asleep.

"I was doing that too! Until I learned something which interested me! I was reading through the book and it was saying something about Halloween?", Mafumafu explained as the other male hummed, not even bothering to show any interest.

"Ah... Halloween, huh? What about it?", Soraru asked sleepily. "I've never heard of it before so I decided to see what it was and it turns out that it was some sort of event which happens once a year where humans apparently dress up like us! And then they get candy!", Mafumafu exclaimed excitedly as the older male sighed.

"I know that already. What do you want? Spit it out.", the merman said as he sat up, not being able to sleep anymore after being interrupted. It didn't seem like Mafumafu would let him go back to sleep anyway so he merely decided to go to sleep later.

Grabbing the roll of bandages on his table, Soraru started to bandage his body up like he did everyday so no one would know his true status as a merman.

"Well, the humans all seemed to think of it as a fun event and such so I was thinking that we could gather our classmates and friends and celebrate Halloween as well!", the albino said as the older male looked at him with a deadpan expression.

"Mafu, why should we dress up as monsters when we are already "monsters" already?", Soraru asked as the younger male ignored the older male's expression and continued to explain.

"We can just dress up as another species! Or dress up as anything! It will be like a costume party for us too and then we can play games, get candy and have fun with everyone!", Mafumafu exclaimed.

The older male looked at him for a good second before sighing, not saying anything. He didn't say no though so the albino knew that he still had a chance.

"Please, Soraru-san? If you help me and all, I will do you a favor!", the zombie promised as the older male perked up at that.

"Oh? Really any kind of favor?", Soraru asked, the albino nodding immediately with a smile. There was a short pause before the older male sighed again and nodding.

"Fine, I'll help you out. You better keep your promise.", the older male said as he stood up from his bed, the albino's expression brightening before he started cheering.

"Yay~! And don't worry, Soraru-san! I will keep promises!", the albino assured as the raven-haired male smiled softly at that before returning to his usual default expression.
