It was after school when Peter insisted that I should return to the stage.

" Wow, I can see what my grandma meant when she said you were her best student."

I smiled as I sat down from showing Peter a routine. Turns out Mrs. Johnson kept my bodice and tutu that I left with my shoes in the locker. It felt nice to be in them again although it's only been a couple days to me that I've last worn it. I ran my hand down to bodice, wanting to comment on how dusty it was. My words were cut off by Peter staring intensely at his phone. I hovered over his shoulder to take a peek to see it was a video of me, dancing.

" Wow, your little rectangle box can catch that?"

" Y/N, you show on camera when you're dancing." Peter said before he replayed the video. I looked at his face to find his eyes holding this one familiar look. It's the look that Luke gives Julie whenever they're on stage together or simply when's she's talking. Pushing the thought aside," What should we do about it?"

" You think I'd have to pay Julie for her holograms idea? I can say you're all the way from like... Iceland or something. And that you couldn't "

" You're planning on showing me to others?"

" I mean Julie and her ghosts are the talk of the school right now. People will believe anything nowadays."

Stuck in my thoughts, I didn't even notice the bright light in the corner of the room, " Y/N!". Peter jumped as I shrieked at Luke suddenly appearing in front of me. "What the heck, Y/N." Peter grumbled as he scrambled to grab his phone that flew out of his hands.

" How'd you find me?"

"Well, I thought of a place you spent more than your room and it turns out I was right." Luke rubbed his hands together before sitting down besides him, " So, this is Peter right?"

"Who are you talking to?" Peter asked with fear in his eyes, just like when we first met. He backed up, holding his phone tight in his hands. " Are you really going to call 911 again?", I squinted my eyes before pointing to Luke, " This is Luke. He was one of the ghosts that were on stage."

" Oh the one that-"

"Shut up."

Luke raised his hand, " Anyways, I really wanted to show you these new songs that Julie and I worked on together." He opened up the crumbled pieces of papers but smoothing them, " So the first one goes ' Cause we're standing on the edg-'".

" So, I can ask Julie if we can use her hologram idea and then I'll show my dad this. Maybe you can even..."

"Excuse me, I was talking."

"perform at the recital tonight. It's initially for the children but you can make a little guest performance"

Luke huffed in frustration. I looked over at him and placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down, " Luke, he can't see you, buddy. That also means he can't hear you right now.". Luke relaxed before continuing, " So as I was saying,"

"Should I go?" Peter tried to look for Luke but had no luck couldn't, " YES!" Luke raised his hands up, waving them towards them the door. I couldn't help but laugh before nodding. " Okay, well, if you going to go missing again like last time, just don't stay out too late. Oh who am I kidding, it's not like you're going to get ghost-napped. I'll talk to my dad and if it's a yes, get back here by 8. No need to practice because you're already amazing." Peter waved before walking up the stairs to the connected house.

" No need to practice because you're already amazing. Wow, can he be any more obvious?"

" He's just being nice. Okay, what is so important that you are so agitated to let it out?"

"Ok minus the fact that Julie and me have written so many songs, we have our first "gig" tonight. It's at the high school." Luke grinned," It's nothing big but it's a start. We're going to be in front of crowd." His hands dropped the papers before taking my hands into his, " You'll be there right?"

" Of course, when have I ever missed a performance?"

Luke tilted his head before I rolled my eyes" Okay, I may have missed a few. But if I get the spot in the recital, could you make it? You and the boys.". Luke tilted his head the other way in thought, " They were always boring..." which made me pout. Soon enough, I was in a chokehold," You know I'm just kidding, Pumpkin. We'll make it. Back to back. Like always. Together."

"Promise?"

Luke lifted up his pinky finger and interlocked it with mine, " Promise."

" According to the internet, salt burns their souls out."

Wow these kids in 2020 are brave. Julie's little brother started to spray the salt everyone. He pointed it directly towards Alex and I, making our eyes widen. " I don't wanna go yet." I whimpered as I hid behind Alex before it splashed on us. We screamed, holding each other but nothing happened. " Oh we're fine." Alex pushing me away by head. Julie frantically motioned to Flynn to get her brother out of there.

"Carlos, you know who's hungry.". I raised my hand proudly before putting it down when Alex looked at me weird.

The pair made their way out of the garage, " Isn't Y/N here right now?" Julie looked around before smiling at the other side of the room that I stood from, " Hey, Y/N. It's really nice to meet you." Well, that's progress. Julie was about to continue practice before Luke stood up and cut her off. Wow, there's a whole lot of cutting off nowadays huh.

"Yes, please. But remind us later. There's some Sunset Curve songs that I want to show you.". The excitement in the room raised as Luke went to grab his songbook. " Reggie, stop putting your country song in my journal.".

" Don't worry, Reggie. They'll eat their words one day." I patted his shoulder.

" I dog-eared the ones that I think you would slay." Luke handed Julie the book and she began to look through all the songs. Two pages peaked her interest, making her smirk. " Who's Emily?", she teased, " that one is not dog eared", Luke tried grabbing the book but Julie jumped before proceeding to read out the lyrics, " If you could only know that I never let you go. Wow, Luke, I didn't know you could be such a romantic. Who's Emily?"

"He's not, that one's actually about-"Alex cut in.

" No, I think he is. This one is called DoReMiFa. Written for Y-" Luke cut them both off," They're about no one. That's just something that I tried."

"You actually never showed us that one, Luke."

"But if you go to the next dog-eared page, I got a tune that's just... it's got a killer beat."

I watched from the side, watching it all go down. He probably wrote another song about his mother again that he didn't show us. I remember the countless nights we would spend talking about how much he misses his parents. Luke strummed the rhythm, leading Julie to state something that confused us all. She insisted that the songs were already released and by someone named Trevor Wilson. All four of us stood in disbelief before she pulled up a screen to show us him.

"Bobby?"
