Catching Sophie

Bella's POV

We were swimming so fast. We couldn't let Sophie get away. Then, everybody would come to Mako and destroy the moon pool and the moon cave. Some might even grow tails. We dried off when we got to a safe spot and Rikki used her power. In one minute we were on our feet running. We saw Sophie run to a car. She started it and we looked at each other.

"How are we going to catch up?" I asked. Even though we were old enough, we hadn't gotten our drivers license. Then behind us we saw Zane and his car. It held four people and it was super fancy. But we all squished in anyway. 

I got to be honest. I was a little scared to be riding in the back of Zane's car while he was driving. We saw Sophie ahead of us and Zane zoomed up beside her car.

She seemed shocked. "What does this have to do with you?" Sophie sneered.

"Everything!" Rikki yelled at her. She was next to me so it kinda hurt my eardrums.

"Sophie you're going to put those back on the island, and never tell anyone about it!" Will yelled. That was going to be a huge problem. Even if she doesn't get the crystals this time, she could tell news reporters, archaeologists, and lots of other people about Mako Island.

Sophie's POV

I don't get why they are so attached to that island. Well actually they probably just want all the crystals to themselves. I mean they already have them on a necklace. What's the difference of me taking them? Well I wasn't going to let them take them from me. I've been driving for a while now so I started to swerve. They were shocked and had to throw on brakes. 

"Hahaha!" I yelled. "So long suckers!" And I sped off at really fast.

Emma's POV

"Dang it!" I yelled. "We almost had her".

"We didn't even get the crystals back" Cleo said. We drove a bit further until we parked and got out. 

I looked down and saw something. "Hey" I said.

I picked it up and then soon realized there were others. "It's the crystals!".

"How many did she have?" Cleo asked looking at Will.

"I'm pretty sure ten" he said.

I counted them and there was ten. Oh my gosh, we are so lucky!

"She must have been going too fast and the flew out of her car. She did have an open windows" Rikki said. Then she laughed.

"The cave is destroyed again though" I said. "And it is even worst than before."

"Well you did it last time. You can fix the cave again" Lewis said.

"Ok" Cleo said. 

"But first we should all rest up. Today was a long day" Lewis said. We all nodded and then we walked home.

I was so happy when Lucas offered to walk me home. His house was close to me but he usually walks a different way than I do.

When we got to my house I turned around and looked at Lucas.

"So.. I'll see you tomorrow" I said.

"See you tomorrow" he said. he turned around and walked away. I stood there for a minute and then walked inside. Tomorrow was going to be a big day.
