Panting from the length she had just concealed in minutes left her body pleading for one intake of auxiliary air. But, she was thoroughly rejected as more of the orc filth sped up the mushy hill upon their imposing Wargs. Their honed teeth slashed against the defenceless air, swallowing it whole. Swiftly, she picked up her feet again across the deserted grassland, near the misty mountains. Her pointy elf ears pricked up at every sudden movement, setting her on edge encase of one of the vile, abnormal beasts bounded on her helpless corpse. Raven coloured strands of hair coated her damp, sweaty face, making her sprint even faster for the loss of some sight. Suddenly, she sprinted into the secret entrance of Mirkwood (the elvenking's province).
Trees upon trees entangled themselves together, forming a great, thick canopy above, blocking out the suns lustrous rays. Narrow branches beneath her feet snapped within an instant of being stepped upon. Little did she know, for she feared upon looking behind her, the Sylvan elves shadowed her as she grew closer to their kings alcazar. The screeching and unsatisfied howls stayed behind, as if it were an event of the past to be scrunched up and thrown in the bin...until a sudden wave of darkness corroded her sight, making her descend into a never ending spiral of ebony coloured stars. Her lilac eyes fluttered open to similar creatures, like herself, carrying her numb body to an unknown destination. Looking around, she found the place enchanting, breathtaking even. Bushes with lucent looking fruits and blackest of multi-coloured blooming flowers surrounded them, their scents mainly tickling her nose, though the other elves were used to it.
" Anno in edel in nestad!" (Give the elf to the healing!) commanded a male elf. She could not see who was talking for her vision was slightly blurry. She was then hurried to yet another male elf. As soon as she lay eyes on him, she found him quite attractive. His eyes were like two radiant leaves, fresh and purified; where as his perfectly groomed hair was a rich shade of auburn, giving off the scent of aromatic strawberries. He soon caught glimpse of her captured by his beauty. " Vedui'. Cormlle naa tanya tel'raa." (Greetings. Your heart is that of a lion). He chuckles."Not many survive out in our lord's woods. Many are perished by the great spiders that delve in there." A small smile appeared on his face.
"Diola lle." (Thank you). She whispered. "Why are you here?"He asked, raising a sleek eyebrow. "I was chased by Orcs from my town, Qwena, down south. They burnt my house, my family, my friends to ash before my eyes, before I managed to slip from there grasp." A crystal tear struck her eye. "I'm sorry for your loss Elleth." "Don't be." Dragging his emerald eyes from her wounds, they caught glimpse of each other, as if they were in a trance. "Anyway, I shall be setting a sleep spell on you so most of your wounds heal." He stated. "Quel kaima." (Sleep well). And put his hand upon her supple forehead. Suddenly, she fell into a deep sleep on a healing table.
Meanwhile in the throne room...
"I wish to see this elf at once." A coarse voice echoed throughout the grand hall. "Not now my lord. She is resting and suffering with anonymous injuries." stated the female elleth. Leaning forward from his strong antlered throne, the elvenking furrowed his brow in fury. "I am the king . I can do whatever i damn well please!" His voice boomed. The female shrivelled back with trepidation. " Sorry, sire. I was just thinking about the girls health." Shaking, the girl bowed and quickly briskly set off to the young elf in the room near the main gate. A thin, wide smirk spread across his face. "I thought so." he mumbled. The king had always gotten his own way. Most of the elven population, in his kingdom feared, him for it.
He was cold, stubborn and - most of all- very narcissistic. Thranduil was the great elven-kings name. His pale, angelic locks that were held back by his autumn looking crown, drifted down his silver encrusted coat, pinned closed by a peculiar, rich jewel. Many had lay eyes upon his bitter, keen orbs that penetrated the souls of liars, betrayers and disobeyer's, sending them down to the murky dungeons below. " Now, I am going to see her whether that elleth maid likes it of not." He nodded to a guard to keep watch for any intruders. Swiftly striding down the steps to his throne, he followed the maid helping the young one to recover. Shuddering, she soon felt a shadow fall upon her. " Sire, I was only trying to protect the girls health." she faintly said. "Do not worry, my child. You are dismissed. Go and spend the rest of the day with your family and take this weeks gold." Surprisingly, he smiled slightly. "Tenna' tul're san'." (Until tomorrow then). Bowing again, she sprinted off, leaving the king with the injured elf.
