Talking to Harry

The next morning Iain went to see Harry as he found Harry sitting in his office so Iain knocked on the door and walked in as Harry said" Iain what can I do for you?"

Iain sat down and said" I've got some questions Harry and Comfort told me to come to you as you might know. When will Ruby wake up?"

Harry got a book from his book shelf and looked at a chapter saying" Chances of Ruby recovering is 50:50 also since the injuries are critical it might take longer."

Iain nodded and said" Will Ruby suffer from PTSD?" Harry sighed and nodded saying" Yes Ruby will suffer from PTSD but she'll have help from you, Comfort, Finlay, Josh, Penny Nikki and Jack."

Iain nodded and said" Thanks Harry" as Iain walked back to a Ruby's room and sat down saying" Babe please wake up" as he nuzzled against Ruby's chest and slept on her chest making sure that Ruby will feel his breathing on her chest.

Back in the ED Roxanne went to Charlie and said" Charlie and Duffy since Ruby is your granddaughter could we get Ruby some flowers and a card for when she wakes up."

Charlie nodded and said" Yeah we could all ask the ED department to donate some money towards the present and the card." Roxanne went to the shops and brought flowers, chocolates and a card whilst Iain was tucking in Ruby as he sat in the chair just holding onto her hand.

Roxanne came back with flowers, chocolates and the card as she said" Here got flowers, chocolates and card" as everyone signed the card.

Charlie walked up to his granddaughters room and knocked on the door as Iain said" Come in" so Charlie came in and smiled saying" Here Roxanne and everybody else at the ED donated money for some flowers, chocolates and a card."

Iain opened the card and smiled saying" This is very kind I'll put some flowers in some water." Charlie said" Got some news from Harry and Ruby might be walking up at the end of this week then you can tell her how much you love her."

Iain said" Ruby is gonna suffer from PTSD Charlie and I'm scared about it" as he sobbed. Charlie sat down and said" Ruby will have help from everybody so don't worry she will still love you also when she wakes up take her to the garden of peace."

Iain nodded and put his head on the pillow as Charlie said" Try and get some sleep as Ruby is right beside you so why don't you get on the bed and cuddle her so that when she wakes up you'll be there cuddling her."

Iain closes his eyes and wrapped his arms round Ruby cuddling her gently as he couldn't wait till the end of the week.

It was the end of the week and it was the day that Ruby is waking up as the nurse said" Ready Iain?" Iain nodded as the nurse turned off the ventilator and took the tube out of Rubys mouth.

Ruby coughed as she opened her eyes slowly and said" Iain where are you?" Iain smiled and said" Hey gorgeous I'm here I've missed you" so Ruby turned her head round and said" Iain am I going to suffer from PTSD?"

Iain nodded and said" Yes Babe you are gonna suffer from PTSD but I'll be here including everybody from the ED so don't panic" as Iain brought in a wheelchair and said" Let's go to the garden of peace as Charlie told me to take you there and also it's very quiet."

Ruby nodded and got into the wheelchair as Iain wheeled Ruby to the lift and took her to the garden of peace.
