Chapter 7

-Well, then let's get started with this. What's the plan?-

Luz was pacing around the living room while Gus and Willow sat there waiting for an answer. They needed to act quickly, they didn't know how much time they had left.

-So... what's the plan again?-

Asked Gus who was beginning to grow desperate, Luz had remained quiet since Willow asked her about her plan, and she began to get lost in thought, that is until Gus asked her again.

-About the plan... there is no plan.-

-Luz!-

-Hear me out! There's no plan, but we could do what's most obvious to do.-

-Mhm, mhm- said Gus while nodding, -Too obvious.-

Luz looked at Gus with a "you have no idea right?" expression. -I'm gonna invite Amity to the Owl House, you two will hide, I don't want to make Okotah suspect that we're planning something. The potion that Lilith and Eda did look a lot like juice, so I could offer her the drink. I'll distract her while you cast the spell and bam! Amity is back to normal.- explained Luz.

-I don't know...- Gus and Luz turned to Willow who had spoken, -It seems a little bit too easy....-

Luz looked at Willow with a serious expression, -Is that so? We are sticking to what the book says, maybe they're all mighty and powerful but they're easy to defeat. Why don't you trust us in this one?-

Willow was about to answer when Gus interrupted her, -She doesn't want to save Amity, of course, she's saying that kind of stuff. She hasn't changed her mind.-

The Latina had a horrified expression at what her friend said, she looked at the blue-haired witch that was looking at her feet without saying a word. -Y...You, don't regret anything..?- she was waiting for an answer, but...

She remained quiet.

Luz clenched her fists, -She can DIE, Willow... isn't that serious enough for you to understand that everything happened because of one little mistake that you made?!-

Willow looked up, meeting her friend's gaze, she had a disappointed look on her face mixed with sadness and anger. -It's not like that. I want to help Amity, but...-

Luz sighed, -You know what? Forget it. Let's just get this over with.- and with that, the brown-haired girl grabbed a scroll that Eda had gave her as an award for raiding the Emperor's castle and making it out alive.

She clicked somethings and placed the scroll on her ear while she waited for someone to pick up. After a couple of seconds, someone picked up. -Uh, hello?-

-Hi Emira, it's Luz.- the Latina had called the Blight twins, she needed to tell them about her plan, and they needed to know that they will save Amity.

-Oh, hi Luz. It's great to hear from you! What's the matter?-

-I know this is so sudden but there's something you need to know...Eda was wrong. Amity is somehow... in big trouble. She made a deal with a shadow demon, and now it's trapped inside her body.-

Emira didn't answer immediately, but she could hear her talking to someone, it wasn't loud enough for Luz to hear, but she could make out a few words like knew, else, happening, Amity, known, and stupid.

-Is it too serious?- the Blight asked preoccupied.

-Well, we found a way to help Amity so as long as we do something in time, is not too serious, but that's why I'm calling you. We need Amity to come to the Owl House as soon as possible.-
