-Amity...-

How did I got myself into all of this?

Luz was standing there, looking at me with surprise, I didn't bother on answering, I was already feeling stressed, I didn't need more problems right now, but then again-

-Amity! Talk to me! All day you've been ignoring me. Is it... is it because I asked you on a date?-

I stood there for a moment, but I decided to get out of there as soon as possible, I was already hurting, I didn't want to hurt more. But she wasn't planning on letting me leave, she grabbed me by my wrist, she took my silence as a 'yes', but that wasn't the case, -I...I'm sorry, it's just that, when you kissed me, I thought that maybe...- her voice trailed off.

She let go of my wrist for a second, so I took the chance and continue walking towards the exit, but she blocked it. -I thought that maybe you really loved me! And now maybe you regret all of that, so, just know that I'm sorry! But please, please just talk to me.I need to know what's wrong at least.-

I let out a sigh, backed off a bit, guess she deserves to know that it's not her fault, but someone can always be watching, so, I'm not telling her the whole truth. -It's not that,- my voice came out as a whisper, -It's not your fault, I really, REALLY like you, I love you with all my heart. I don't regret the kiss, and I really appreciate the fact that you asked me on a date, it's really sweet of you. B...But, I can't talk to you now, just... for now, stay away from me. I don't want you to get hurt.-

Tears began to form once again, but I wiped them off.

Then I thought, mom told me she would get back Luz to her world, is she really capable? I don't think so, as far as I know she doesn't have access to the human realm. But she will find a way to get rid of Luz, she could even turn her, and all the inhabitants of the Owl House to the Emperor, she's capable of doing that.

I didn't think next, I suddenly pushed Luz into a wall as I placed both of her arms besides her head, and kissed her, like if it was the last time. I closed my eyes tightly, enjoying every second of it, who knows when I could do this again.

We separated from the kiss, but we kept our position, -I cannot tell you any details, but I can tell you that...it's happening all over again.- I looked into Luz's face, she was confused and worried. -I know you are confused and you don't understand, but you will soon,- I let go of her arms and backed off again, -Someone knows about all of this but I can't actually tell you.- Before I knew it she kissed me again, I started melting into the kiss but I remembered.

I pushed away, and when I looked into her eyes, my heart shattered into millions of pieces, she was crying.
