Twinkling lamps in all colors outline the roof of the house. My eyes twinkle when I see many people inside dancing on the music that's filling my ears even though Five and I are still outside.

"Are you ready to see the handler again?" Five says, shaking me out of my trance.

I nod. I think I am. I hope I am.

Five stands in front of me and with a sinful smile upon his face, he puts his hand in front of me. A true smile pops onto my lips and I lay my hand in his.

Before actually leading me inside, he places a soft kiss on my hand. His lips feel soft on the skin of my hand and my belly immediately turns around again.

We follow behind two women whose laughs are loud and excited. The squeals tell me that they're already wasted, making me chuckle. Once inside my eyes scan the room we're in. The music is loud but it isn't the music that I'm used to from when I went to parties when I was still in school. This music is passionate and energizing.

The people aren't jumping on the rhythm of the music, no, they're moving smoothly on the music. It reminds me of ballet. There are people dancing on their own but they don't seem bothered by it at all. They're themselves and this is their moment to shine and they're taking it.

There are also people dancing with a partner, in each others' arms. Their eyes locked and looking at each other with such hunger and passion in their eyes.

"Would you like to dance with me y/n l/n?" Five asks me when he's finished staring at me as I'm still looking in awe at everything. I turn my head towards him and my smile widens.

"I would like that very much, yes." I smile and as just another song begins, he pulls me behind him in the crowd.

I lay my hands upon his shoulders and his hands slide into place on my waist. His touch on my waist still sends shivers through my spine every single time.

Nothing has changed since we've accepted our new life without any fights or surprises. His eyes are still the most loving ones that I've ever seen. His touch still warms my heart and still makes the need for more of his touch grow.

In this moment, it is just us and our love for each other. The handler has been here for a while. She won't leave now.

Five's grip on my waist tightens when the tempo of the melody slows. His eyes are fixated on mine and mine on his.

"Thank you." He says, making me tilt my head a little.

"Thank you for what?" I ask him completely confused. The sudden 'thank you' caught me off guard and I'm waiting for him to answer my question while we continue staring at each other as the music leads us.

"For bringing me on the right path. I don't know what person I would've become without you. You succeeded to break the stone that had came around my heart and you made me feel again. You did that. Thank you for that and everything else." he tells me with honesty in his voice.

My heart skips a beat when I hear him say those words. I'm pretty sure that if I wasn't in a room full of people then I would have allowed the tears to come.

"Oh Five." I say almost completely speechless "I love you."

A content smile appears on his lips. How much I love him. I have for such a long time. I've never stopped loving him even though we've been ripped apart so many times. Such love will never disappear. Never.

Five slowly leans in, but when my eyes fall upon someone behind him, I stop him.

"There she is." I tell him and the frown upon his forehead from getting his kiss rejected disappears when he turns around and sees who I'm seeing. The old handler.

She looks different. Very different. Her hair is dyed brown or this might be her natural hair color, I don't know. She isn't wearing any of her outstanding outfits that I've grown quite used to. Still the blue dress that she's wearing is absolutely magnificent and makes sure that she's in the spotlight. The fabric shows off her body's curves and she surely knows it.

Her eyes have yet to fall upon us and I take the perfect opportunity. I don't doubt and walk straight to the woman that I thought I had murdered. She impolitely puts a drink in a man his hands, earning a glare from him but she turns her back on him almost immediately.

In a quick tempo she walks back to the bar to grab another drink for someone and when she turns around with the purple drink in her hand, she is faced with me.

Her eyes widen but she doesn't look afraid or shocked. Instead of saying something, she sends me an eye roll and then pushes me to the side and walks towards a woman to give her the drink.

With an annoyed feeling building up inside of me, I follow her. Not minding me, she walks back to the bar to continue her task. This time I stop her from walking to another person again by standing in her way again. She tries to push me aside just like she did just seconds ago but I don't let her.

"Do not test me. I will crack your neck again. I'm sure you remember." I growl at the woman in front of me.

Just now a flash of worry comes into her eyes but only just for a second. Then a smirk comes upon her face.

"There you are. I thought that you had grown soft these last few years." She says and leans against the wall behind her.

"We need to talk." I tell her and she stays quiet. Her eyes stay on me until Five comes into her view. Her smirk widens as he comes to stand next to me.

"What is there to talk about then? Unless you want a sex on the beach." She suggests, making me scoff.

Five takes a step closer towards her and she waits for him to open his mouth.

"Your job..." He trails off and she tilts her head a little, showing us that she is curious.

"Dear old Phill, the traitor, took the job. By the way shouldn't you two be getting married right now?" She asks us.

"There's a new apocalypse happening." Five snaps at her "And we know that it's you who's causing it!"

An immense frown gets placed on her forehead and she looks back at me and then back at Five. My mouth falls open when I realise that she isn't acting this time.

"Where? How? And by who?" She asks us, looking utterly shocked.

I look at Five before answering. He shares the same confused expression upon his face.

"There are fires all around our city. No one can get out. We don't know how or by who. . . since we thought that it was you who was causing all of it."

"Me?!" She exclaims "Like I could cause an apocalypse while I'm serving drinks to wasted people that keep looking at my ass!"

Her eyes narrow at Five and me. An eye roll follows the outburst of hers but she doesn't turn her back on us as I expected her to.

"You have to find out who is causing it and stop that person." She says, causing both Five and me to look at each other.

Both frowning, we turn our heads to her again. Her eyes are upon us and her facial expressions tell me that she is very serious.

"Have you had too many sex on the beaches?" I ask her as a smile forms onto my lips.

"Dear god no." She rolls her eyes again but chuckles at the same time "I drink whiskey."

There it is. A glimpse of the person that I truly cared for. The person that I didn't want to kill. The person that I would have trusted.

"But yes, I did mean what I said. I can't have anyone causing an apocalypse now." She sighs.

"Why can't you have anyone causing an apocalypse now?" Five asks her with curiosity in his voice.

For a few seconds the old handler looks down at her feet. Just when she's ready, she faces us again.

"Because this time, without being the handler, I can't protect my daughter."
