"You have a daughter?" I exclaim as Five's jaw drops to the ground. I would've never expected her to be a mother. Maybe I don't know her at all.

"Nobody knows except you two now so keep your mouths shut." She threatens while pointing her finger at Five and me

I hadn't expected her have a daughter but I can imagine it. I think she'd do everything to protect her daughter, her kid.

"Can I join you two?" She says with a serious expression upon her face as if she didn't just ask the craziest question that she could ever ask us.

A rude scoff escapes Five's lips and she and I immediately turn our faces to him. Five looks at me and raises an eyebrow.

"You aren't seriously thinking of letting her come with are you?" He asks me, sounding surprised.

I turn my head to the old handler again. It doesn't sound crazy at all that she wants to protect her family just like I want to protect mine. Even though it isn't the smartest idea to allow someone you attempted to murder to come with you on a mission to save the world, I am doubting it. Still she might have lied about her daughter and she might be planning to try and stop us from stopping the apocalypse. That's sounds like something she'd do...

"I'm doubting." I tell him as I quickly glance at him.

"I can be a great help. I've got years of experience and I'm amazing in combat. Plus I know when people are lying. That's handy isn't it?" She tries to convince me like this is the most important thing in her life as she adds hand gestures.

I can tell that she wants to get out of here and Five and I are her only chance of that. If we don't take her on our mission then she'll be forced to work here.

"I suppose that can be handy indeed..." I sigh as I look down at my own feet. I can't be convinced by anyone. What do I think?

I think that she deserves to get the chance to save her daughter. I think she deserves to get out of here and take a break from people staring at her body all the time. I think that she deserves another chance at happiness that she won't get here.

After a few more seconds of thinking and over thinking, I look up at Five. He might not want her to come with but I know that it won't take much for me to convince him.

"Can she please come with us?" I ask Five with an innocent smile upon my lips.

"You cannot be serious!" he shakes his head at both the handler and me.

The handler sighs loudly and then turns around to continue serving drinks again but I grab her arm. Without a firm grip, I force her to turn around.

"I think she would be a great help Five. She's experienced with the apocalypse." I tell him after softly squeezing the old handler's arm to reassure her.

"Addicted to the apocalypse you mean! She made our lives awful! She ripped us apart so many times and she made sure that I was stuck in the fucking apocalypse for almost a lifetime! So excuse me when I don't want her coming with us!" he raises his voice but quickly recovers so people won't stare at us.

"She's the one that made sure that I saw my parents dead just centimeters away from me after the car crash. She made sure I was ripped apart from you. She made sure that I was tortured. But she was also the one that looked out for me when I was so close to ending it all! She locked me up because she knew I'd kill myself if I had the chance. She knew what was going on inside of me Five. She's the reason that I'm alive right now. If she hadn't sent Hazel and Phill, I'd be buried now." Without realizing it, I reveal a little of what has happened in the commission.
