It had been a really long day. You just spent the past fifteen hours in labor and your body was definitely feeling heavy from exhaustion.

The nurse had to take your new born baby girl to get her weight and to clean her up, which gave you and Bakugou a well deserved break.

Bakugou was sitting in the chair beside your bed with his arms on the bed as he lay his head on them. His left hand tangle with yours as you softly smiled at him.

Even though your body was the one that went through the trauma of giving birth, Bakugou looked just as tired as you were.

He insisted on staying at the hospital with you the whole time, even calling in to work to tell them he'd be gone. Which you expected him to do anyways, but what shocked you is the fact that he was actively so nice to you the whole time. Like he was thinking about the out come of him doing something, which wasn't really like Bakugou. He was more of a 'do now, ask later' kind of person

He didn't even call you that annoying nickname that you've grown to love.

Not only that, but he stayed awake the whole time as well. Even when you found the time to get a quick nap in, he stayed awake to make sure nothing happened to you or the baby.

You weren't aware of him staying awake though. He knew you'd probably hit him if you found out he wasn't sleeping.

After a few moments of staring at him, you heard him groan.

"Are you gonna keep staring at me all night?" He said with a slight edge to his voice. And he's back.

"I don't know. Are you gonna sleep?" You asked him. He lifted his head to meet your gaze. He raised an eye brow at you and shook his head gently.

"I wanna meet her." He mumbled. You smiled at him softly. He sat up as he took a deep breathe and stretched his arms.

"I gotta call shitty hair. Let him know she's fine." He told you. You smiled at him as he grabbed his phone, standing up to walk to the window. You assumed it was to stretch his legs.

A few moments later you heard the door open, pulling your attention to see who walked in.

It was the nurse with your baby girl. You sat up straighter and smile at her. The nurse gently placed her in your arms and began explaining everything that was going on.

This pulled Bakugou away from the phone, telling Kirishima he had to go before he shoved his phone into his pocket and made his way back over to look at the new born in your arms. He listened quietly as the nurse talked. 

"She is 6 pounds, which is a little smaller than what we'd like her to be at, but other than that she's healthy, her heart sounds great and she's breathing just fine on her own. We want to see if she will eat, so will you be breast feeding or using formula?" the nurse asked you. You glanced up at the nurse briefly, not wanting to turn your attention from the sleeping baby in your arms. 

"Formula." You told her. The nurse nodded, then went to get the bottle ready for you. 

"Can.. can I watch her make it? I've never made a baby bottle before.." Bakugou asked you. He seemed embarrassed at the fact that he wasn't sure how to do it. 

"Go, baby. She'll be okay." You told him. He nodded and then leaned down to kiss your forehead. He looked down at the baby, hesitated for a moment, but then leaned down to kiss her as well. He followed the nurse to where she was making the bottle and watched her quietly. She took notice of his presence and started explaining what to do. 

You turned your attention to the girl in your arms. She squirmed and opened her eyes to look at you. Your heart skipped a beat. 

Her eyes were just like Bakugous. They were slightly deeper red than his, but you already knew they were going to brighten once she got older. 

As the nurse walked back towards you she began talking. 

"So, any names picked out yet?" She asked the two of you. You looked at Bakugou as the nurse handed you the bottle. 

"(Baby's name), I think is what we agreed on." You told her. Bakugou stared down at the baby in your arms. You put the bottled to her mouth. She took it immediately, as if she were waiting for it. You smiled. She's perfect. 

"Is she eating good?" The nurse asked you. You nodded your head and watched her eat. 

"Great! I'll be back in a moment to check on you guys." You thanked her as she walked out of the room. As she was walking out, you saw Kirishima walk in along with Denki and Mina. You smiled at them and glanced at Bakugou. 

He didn't even notice them walk in. He had tears in his eyes as he watched the baby girl in front of him. 

"Heeyyy!" Mina said quietly. Everyone surrounded the bed and looked down at her. 

"How are you?" Mina asked you. Kirishima and Denki walked over to Bakugou, teasing him a little bit as a greeting. 

"I'm good. I'm really tired, but good." You told her. She smiled and gently brushed the tinny hairs on the baby's head with her fingers. 

"Hey! Careful. If you break her I'll break you." Bakugou said. He tried to be quiet so he didn't scare the baby, but she jumped a little and sighed. You glared at Bakugou. 

"And if you scare her again I'll break you." You told him. He scowled at you, but didn't say anything else. 

"Can I hold her?" Kirishima asked you. You looked up at Bakugou. 

"Do you want to hold her first?" You asked Bakugou. You wanted Bakugou to get the chance to hold her first before anyone else. His face paled. You weren't surprised about his hesitancy since he's never been around babies. 

"Uhm.. s-sure." He mumbled. You were surprised to hear the stutter in his voice. You took the now empty bottle out of the baby's mouth and burped her before giving her to Bakugou. You gently placed her in his arms. She looked so small in his arms. So protected. 

"Wow..." Bakugou said softly. The baby squirmed slightly. His eyes went wide. 

"She has my eyes.." He said quietly. Everyone watched the beautiful moment unfold in front of them. Nobody ever thought Bakugou would be the first to settle down and have kids of the group, so seeing him this soft and gentle with a child made everyone extremely happy. 

"She looks like you." Denki told him. You nodded in agreement. 

"Yeah, she does." you agreed. Bakugou looked up at you with a small smile. 

"Try bouncing with her, it'll calm her down." Mina told him. He tsked, but did as Mina suggested. She eventually calmed down in his arms. 

"What's her name?" Kirishima asked. 

"(bn)." you told them. You felt your eyes getting heavy, but you didn't want to fall asleep. You'd fallen in love with the sight of Bakugou holding your baby so gently. You didn't want to miss a single moment of it, but the sleepiness took over you. Your eyes closed and you fell asleep to the sound of Bakugou talking with his friends.

When you woke up again, it was quiet. Everyone had gone home shortly after you fell asleep pur Bakugous demand. The only source of light in the room was the night stand light. You looked around the room, your eyes finally landing on Bakugou in the corner with the baby. 

Your heart swelled at the sight. 

He was leaned back, a pillow behind his head as his legs stretched out in front of him. Your baby girl was laying gently on his chest, a pink blanket wrapped around her. One of Bakugou's big hands supported her from the bottom while the other rested gently on her back. 

You sighed. You couldn't be any happier. 

After that, your eyes fluttered closed, sending you back into a deep sleep.
