My Hero Academia: One Shots Edition!

Todoroki x Reader

You quietly sat at your desk in the classroom as you waited for everyone else to arrive. You were usually the first one to show up, so it wasn't a big surprise that nobody was here yet. 

However, it was a small surprise when you saw Todoroki walk into the room. He was usually early but never this early. He had his usual bored look on his face, but something in his eyes said he was going through something. You'd never seen such concentration in them before. 

You watched him as he walked by your desk. As he walked back to his own desk, you noticed bruising around his lower neck, traveling below his shirt. You gasped lightly. How the hell did he get that? 

He turned to look at you, his expression never changing. You held his gaze for a moment. 

"It's impolite to stare." He told you. Your eyes widened and you quickly turned away. You and Todoroki weren't close or anything, and you were shy to begin with, so to hear his voice be directed towards you sent shivers down your spine. You couldn't tell if it was because of the undeniable attraction you felt towards him or the overwhelming shyness you felt when he did talk to you. Either way the shiver shook your whole body, and all you could do was pray he didn't notice it. 

As the class went on the only thing you could think about was the bruising on Todoroki's neck, and from what it looked like, is upper back. 

It didn't help that you ended up being his partner for a science project. You glanced over at him to see him already staring at you. His face held the same expression it always did and his eyes were back to normal. You couldn't read them anymore. 

Once the teacher allowed for chatter, you pulled out your notebook and began jotting down some notes about the assignment that you were sure to forget if you didn't. 

After a moment you felt a larger presence beside you. You slowly looked up to see who it was. 

Todoroki. 

"We can work after school if you'd like. I have training at 6 though." he told you. You felt your face flush at the idea of you and him being around each other outside of school. He continued to look down at you. 

"Did I say something wrong?" He asked you, his voice not changing in pitch even for a moment. You blinked a few times and shook your head to try and regain functions of your brain. 

"Uhm. No, after school is fine." You told him softly. He nodded his head once. 

"Let's go to your residence. Is that okay?" He asked you. You nodded your head. He waited for a moment before turning on his heal and walking back to his desk. You weren't sure what he was doing but you didn't bother asking him. 

Instead, you began preparing by thinking of ideas that could work for the project.

As soon as school ended and you stepped out of your last class, you saw Todoroki waiting by the big windows across the hall. He was sitting on a bench with green cushions on it as he played with his phone. 

"Oh. Uh.. hi." You said nervously. He looked up at you, put his phone away, then stood to his feet to make his way over to you. As he stopped in front of you, you smelt that cologne he was wearing. It was subtle and musky, but it was enough to make your heart beat faster and your face to flush. 

"Are you ready to go?" He asked you. You nodded your head and quietly began walking down the hallway towards the exit. 

The walk to your house wasn't long. In fact, it was only a ten minute walk. Much farther than what Todoroki had to walk, he noticed.
