Chapter 6

It is the morning and I got dressed and put on some makeup and I went downstairs to make breakfast.

Julian: Hey Mika!

Mika: Hey Julian

Julian: again thank you for helping Courtney last night, it's been hard for her right now bc of what's been going on.

Mika: ofc

Julian: I heard that kai is coming here today

Mika: Yeah

Julian: that's good, I can't wait to meet him

Mika:Yeah me too.

Two hours later, I hear the doorbell and it's kairi, I run to the door and opened it.

Mika: heyyy

Kairi: hi Mika!

Mika: come in

Kairi: wow, your house is big.

Mika: it's not that big but thank you. Oh yeah I want you to meet my brother, Julian and his girlfriend, Courtney

Julian: Hey it's nice to meet you

Kairi: it nice to meet you too.

Kairi: oh Courtney, are you pregnant?

Courtney: no I just eat a lot

Kairi: oh...

Courtney: (wheezes) I'm just kidding. Yeah I am pregnant

Kairi: oh I'm sorry if i-

Courtney: no no! It's okay, I was just messing with you

Kairi:oh phew. How long have you been pregnant for?

Courtney: 7 months. I'm due for either the end of August or the beginning of September.

Kairi: oh that's nice, is it a boy or a girl?

Courtney: we're not revealing it yet, we haven't told anyone yet, but we're having a gender reveal party soon.

Kairi: ohh okay

Mika: haha I'll show you my room

Kairi: Okay

We went upstairs and I showed kai my room.

Mika: here's my room!

Kairi: wow, it's looks really nice

Mika: thanks, I got a lot of skateboarding stuff everywhere.

Kairi: ooh nice.

Mika: Yeah and I have a bunch of magazines over there and my old Polaroid camera, but I haven't used it in awhile.

Kairi: I love Polaroid pictures, we should take some.

Mika: Okay, but I have to see if we have any film left.

I checked if I still had film and I had some left.

Mika: I have 5 left.

Kairi: oh that's perfect! Let's start taking pics.

We took pics and then they printed out.

Mika: omg you look good in these!

Kairi: you look good in these too.

Mika: ahh stoppp.

Mika: here, I'm gonna give you some of the pictures that you can take home and I'll keep the others.

Kairi: Okay, should I take two or three?

Mika: threes fine

Kairi: Okay

Mika: I'll give them to you with you leave

Kairi: Okay that's fine. What should we do now?

Mika: do you want to watch anime?

Kairi: sure

I get my laptop and I pull up anime and i sat on the bed and kai lied down .

Kairi: you can lay on me if you want.

I got so nervous when he said that

Mika: oh, okay

I was laying on kais chest and we watched anime together. And while we watched, he took my arm and he noticed my bracelet.

Kairi: I like your bracelet.

Mika: thank you, my mom got it for me when I was little.

Kairi: oh nice. But how does it still fit you?

Mika it's adjustable

Kairi: ohhh Okay that make sense

Mika: Yeah, I've always worn this bracelet ever since she died.

Kairi: oh that's nice that you still wear it

Mika: Yeah it's definitely important to me.

I scooted closer to kai and my body is fully on his body even more and he put his arms around me and I wanted to scream but I didn't want him to know that I liked him. And then I decided to play with his necklace. And after that, I started to get tired and I knocked out.

A few minutes later, kai was waking me up.

Kairi: (soft voice) Mika, mika

He was tapping my shoulder

Kairi: Mika

I woke up

Mika: oh, what happened?

Kairi: you were sleeping.

Mika: oh I didn't realize that, sorry.

Kairi: you don't need to apologize.

Mika: oh sor- wait I almost said it...

We were laughing and then I shut my laptop and we were talking some more.

Kairi: that was nice.

Mika: Yeah.

Kairi: so, hows your summer going on so far?

Mika: it's actually one of the best summers I've had. Because of you guys

Kairi: aww really?

Mika: Yeah, I feel happier with you guys.

Kairi: thank you. Oh I know you mentioned this before but why did you switch to doing online school?

Mika: um... i- uh

Kairi: what is it?

Mika: if I tell you, do you promise that you won't get mad?

Kairi: I won't get mad.

Mika: Okay, well uh the truth is that I actually got expelled from school.

Kairi: oh what did you do?

Mika: again please don't get mad at me.

Kairi: (laughs) I won't!

Mika: well, this actually happened two months ago, I used to do drugs and I would use them in school, and one time I was smoking weed in the bathroom and I got caught by a teacher, and I was sent to the principals office and I almost got arrested but luckily I didn't, but I did get expelled tho, so I have to do online school now because I cant go back to school.

Kairi: oh wow, and why did you do drugs?

Mika: because I was very depressed at the time because I was still suffering the loss of my parents and I was going through shit with the girls I used to be friends with and because of that, they stopped being friends with me because they found out I was doing drugs, but I don't do it anymore.

Kairi: oh I'm sorry about that, did you try to explain to them that you are going through a lot?

Mika: they wouldn't listen to me...

Kairi: oh that's terrible

I felt like crying right now but I had to hold it in.

Mika: I'll be in the bathroom real quick, I'll be right back

Kairi: Okay
