Chapter 10

Mika's POV

It is morning and I wake up not remembering how I got in bed. But I went downstairs to eat breakfast and then I got a text from Kai. I wasn't expecting that.

Kairi

Kairi: yo Mika are you free today?

Mika: Yeah why?

Kairi:do you want to go out to town with me for lunch?

Mika:with the guys too?

Kairi:no just us

Mika: sure. I just have to get ready

Kairi:Okay, see you soon

I can't believe that Kairi asked me out! I'm literally shaking right now.

I am picking out a cute outfit right now and i feel like wearing a skirt today even tho I don't wear skirts or own one so I decided to ask Courtney if she has one I can borrow.

Mika: Courtney!

Courtney: Yeah Mika?

Mika: do you have a skirt that I can borrow?

Courtney: Yeah why?

Mika: because kairi asked me to go to lunch with him in town

Courtney: omg that's great!

I went upstairs to her room and I got a white skirt and I decided to put it on with a light blue cropped top.

I came downstairs with my outfit on, makeup and hair down.

Courtney: OMG Mika! You look amazing!

Mika: thank you ☺️

I left and got into the car and drive to town and then I was about to find kairi but I saw him walking

Mika: KAI!

Kairi looks and sees me in the car

Kairi: hi Mika!

Mika: I'm going to find parking first

Kairi: Okay I'll be right here

I found a parking space and then I was walking to kairi

Kairi: wow, you look beautiful

Mika: thank you, and I like your fit too.

Kairi was wearing a tee shirt and shorts.

Kairi: I didn't know I had to be dressy today. Now I feel bad

Mika: no no it's fine! Haha

We walked into a diner and we ordered food and then we ate outside since it was sunny today.

Mika: Wow it's such a nice day out today

Kairi: Yeah it is

Mika: Sooo what made you want to ask me out?
