We all arrived at Aunt Debbie's house.

Aunt Debbie: Hi!

Mika: Hi

I was hugging aunt Debbie and we all walked in and my other aunts and uncles and cousins are at the table.

Uncle Dave: Hey guys!

Uncle Henry: What's up?

Mika: Hi I'm good!

Julian: I'm good

We all sat at the table and we started eating food and then I hear my aunts and uncles having a conversation. It was like "blah blah blah" and then I hear this

When I heard this I immediately looked up.

Mika: Who had aids?

Uncle Henry: Are you gonna tell her?

Mika: Tell me what?

Aunt Debbie: Um... your dad had aids

Mika: He did?

Aunt Debbie: No, she was so upset about your father passing that he committed suicide because she wanted to be with him

Mika: oh my god, I can't believe she would do that.

Aunt Debbie: I know it's sad. But we didn't want to tell you yet. We wanted to wait until you were 18

Mika: Why? You think I can't handle it?
