Adoption🍕✨

-Sophia's POV-
It was a Saturday morning when I heard Ms. Graham banging on my door," Get up shit heads there is some one here to adopt." I groaned as I sat up. I go and wake up the rest of the girls in my room since I saw no one waking up. I sleep in a big room with a 10 other girls. We sleep on bunk beads and we each get a little table. (All our stuff goes under our bed) After I started to see everyone waking up I went to grab my clothes. I went and took a shower then got dressed. I finished my skin care when I heard stomping coming up the stairs I hurried out the bathroom because I knew that meant that Ms. Graham was going to be furious if she saw me doing my makeup. When I opened the door I headed to the play room because I was on punishment. I may or may not have suck out and broke into an abandoned house. The police heard me break the glass of the window and caught me. So now I have to read stories and babysit the little kids. -1 hour later
I heard Ms. Graham calling my name so I headed down stairs to the main meeting room. When I reached the end of the staircase I saw all the girls on the couches talking and playing on their phones. I continued to walk into Ms.Graham's office to see a man sitting at her desk. He looked kinda hot 👀🤤. But he did look like he was in his 20's or something. I snapped out of day dreaming when Ms. Graham clapped in my face nearly hitting my nose. "Hey bitch go hangout with your little friends until I'm done with this very kind man" she Proceeded to say while in my face. "I told you I don't have any friends, they all got adopted". I said while I started to tear up. She just laughed at me so I went to the main room and sat in the corner. I don't have a phone like the other girls, they got theirs before they got here, but when I got here I wasn't old enough for one. I cried in a ball in the corner of the room while I got weird stares from the other girls. No one likes me here except my Ellie. That's when I remember I forgot Ellie on my bed. I ran upstairs to grab her. When I walked in there she was, an old worn down stuffed elephant. I have had her my whole life and she's the last thing I have from my parents. I was walking back downstairs when I accidentally bumped into some one. I look up to see the man from Ms. Graham's office. He had black hair and dark brown eyes. "I'm s-so so-sorry" I said as I tried to stand back up. "It's cool you don't have to apologize, umm are you ok do you need help up". He held out his hand which was very veiny and attractive not going to lie. I grabbed his hand and I stood up. "Hi I'm Bryce" he said while smiling "h-hey my name is s-Sophia grace". I said while stuttering a lot. "No need to be nervous, I don't bite". That made me giggle. " hey what's that thing in your hands"? I started to tell him about what happened to me and my parents and started crying. He gave me a hug while I cried into his shoulder. That was until I heard a girl behind us shriek. "OMG OMG YOUR BRYCE HALL" I turned to see Jessica. She has been mean to mean ever since she got here. I don't know why she just always has. A bunch of girls started to crowd around Bryce and I just slowly slipped away and ran back to my corner of the room. I heard Ms. Graham start screaming at the girls telling them to quite down and give him space. One of the girls spoke up and said " are you gonna adopt one of us"? Everyone started screaming again when he said yes. I don't like screaming, it reminds me of when I heard my parents screaming in our car accident. They went on and on and wouldn't stop screaming. By then I was in a ball squeezing Ellie and balling my eyes out. My ears started ringing I couldn't see where I was I looked around to see smoke and my food my lunch everywhere. I was startled by my mom shaking me and snapping I'm my face, " Baby, baby are you ok?" I shook my head yes and saw my dad through the windshield. I started to panic until I heard sirens of police and ambulance. It took them a while to get me out the car for some reason. I was out and on a stretcher heading to an ambulance. I turned my head to see my dad also on a stretcher. I asked the doctor man that was helping me where my mom was, he said they were still getting her out the car and it will be ok. I just nodded and we rode to the hospital while they asked me a bunch of questions.
Bryce's POV
I was being ambushed by a bunch of little girls when I started to hear crying instead of screaming I looked around and didn't see anyone hurt or anything so I got out of the girls grasped and went to the main room. I saw Sophia in a corner crying and hyperventilating. I ran to her and held her on my lap. I drew circles on her back and hummed a song my mom used to sing to me when I had panic attacks. " 🎶Baby mine close your eyes, baby mine don't you cry, rest your head close to my heart, never to part baby of mine🎶." Her breathing slowed down to normal and she looked up and said, " please don't leave I'm scared". At that moment I knew I wanted to keep Sophia, to keep her safe and never let anyone hurt her again.
-Sophia POV-
I looked up and saw that bryce was holding me on his lap and he was humming a song. I recognized the song from dumbo. He started to stop when I said " please don't leave I'm scared". He just looked at me as I stared back at him. " I won't leave you as long as you let me adopt you". I was in shock I couldn't believe what was happening, "y-you said you wanna adopt me?" He shook his head yes and I just hugged him sooooo tight. " I guess that's a yes"? He said laughing.
He got up and signed my papers while I packed my bags. I was done and met Bryce at the door. We walked to his car. I asked him where can I sit and he said anywhere. I sat in the front seat and put my seatbelt on. Then we started driving.
