Greyson's Point of View

Lee was acting kind of strange after he received a call from someone. Even though I was also bothered because of his switch of behavior, hindi ko na lang siya kinulit pa tungkol doon kasi hindi ko naman maku-control si Lee if he's really a private kind of a person.

Give me ten minutes. Susunod ako sa'yo."

I just nodded and faked a smile before I caressed his head and went upstairs.

I went to the balcony to check him, and right there on the poolside where I left him, I saw Lee while he was conversing with someone on the phone again. This time, parang galit na galit siya sa kanyang kinakausap.

"What's wrong with this guy?" I asked myself. I then realized that Lee was a much more complex person that what I perceived him as.

I just sighed heavily because of this frustration that I was having with him.

He was smiling like nothing happened a while ago. "Bakit parang malungkot ka?" he asked me.

I wanted him to be honest with me, but I was not surprised when he told me a white lie as his response. "Bakit naman ako malulungkot, e, nasa St. Tropez tayo ngayon."

I laughed with him after he said that but he didn't know that I was vanishing inside.

He caressed my head and told me that it was his friend from Korea. "He told me that his house was robbed," he said, but I knew that he was lying again.

"As if that friend of yours and his family really exist," I whispered to myself.

"Can we sleep now para naman maaga tayo bukas? I-charge na nating ang ating phones para marami tayong makuhang photos, love," he asked me.

Parang nawala ang exasperation ko sa kanya when he called me love. This was the first time that he called me something other than my name or my nickname – or babo, whatever that word is.

As usual, it was one of the most relaxing places here in Balesin. Even Lee could not resist their dishes at napa-dalawang serve pa siya ng nasi goreng.

The next destination that we visited was the beautiful Phuket. Kahit hanggang ngayon ay namanangha pa rin ako sa exterior ng villas dito: From the blade-like roof projections to the hallmarks that replicate the Thai culture, lahat ang gagandang tignan.
