Hell Week (2)

You woke up to a message.

'Eat your breakfast so your mind will function well when you take the exam. -Kuroo'

You smiled as you read the text that was sent.

"Good morning texts? Damn, he do be moving fast." Your bestfriend teased. You groaned as she kept on bugging you about Kuroo. "What was his name again? Churro?" She said as she fixed her uniform. She's an early bird, unlike you who doesn't like waiting for the professor for a long time.

"It's Kuroo, dumbass." You laughed at her. You grabbed your towels and decided to get ready.

You can't help but smile as the warm water flowed down your cold skin. You never felt this ready to take an exam. 'Damn you, rooster' you cursed while smiling like an idiot as you know that he is the reason why. Not just the reason why you feel confident to take the exam but also the reason why your heart is dancing. Should you be worried? After getting ready you decided to go the cafeteria to eat your breakfast. You scrolled through your phone as you slowly munch on your food.

"Oi, eat before you use your phone." You heard someone say and pull the chair beside you.
"Why are you always here?" You asked him as you put down your phone.

"Why? Don't you wanna see me?" He asked and raised his eyebrows. Well, it's not you don't want to see him but it's not that you want to see him either... or maybe you actually do want to see him. "Okay then." He said and stood up.

"Wait." You immediately said and held unto his wrists. You immediately regret what you did as a smirk appeared on his face. "Don't. Say. A. Word." You warned him, knowing that he would tease you.

"Don't worry, Kitten. I won't tease you." He laughed and ruffled your hair.

"Kitten? Kitten my salted eggs." You said declining the awful callsign he just thought of. "You are the one who looks like a cat!" You laughed at him.

"Kitten your what? Do you even have one?" He answered in between laughs.

He walked you to class even if you declined. You told him that he might be late if he did but he didn't listen to you. You felt butterflies as you watch him slowly walk away. On the other hand, as he passed your classroom he started sprinting and praying that he's not yet late. He pants as he tried to catch his breath upon arriving at his classroom. 'Holy shit' he mumbled as he sat down his chair, still panting.

"Yo, You good bro? You're almost late." The man beside him asked.
"Yeah, yeah. I just ran from another department." He said in between deep breaths, making the guy's eyes grow wide.

"From what?!"

You all got dismissed after the test. You sighed as you enter your dorm, flopping down your bed as soon as you reached it. "I'm so tired..." You complained as you feel drained from answering hard questions. You were supposed to study but your eyes gave up on you and closed by their own will.

You woke to your friend calling you out. "Hm?" You groaned as you opened your eyes.

"Your 'friend' came here to pick you up." She said saying the word 'friend' sarcastically. Shit you forgot that you have to meet up with Kuroo.

You didn't even reply to your friend. You threw in a hoodie, grabbed your things and went outside. "Hey, I'm so sorry. I fell asleep and I forgot." You apologized as soon as you face him.

"Don't worry about it. It's completely fine. Let's go?" He asked as he took your bag, carrying it for you. You just nodded as a response. He drove back to where you first hanged out with him. You went out as soon as he stopped the car.

"Here, I'll help you up." He offered and held you on your sides as a support while you climb up the car's roof. He handed you your bag and he climbed up as well.

You both studied as the sun slowly sets. The sky turning into different shades of orange made you feel so light. You secretly glanced at Kuroo. He looks so stunning seriously reading the textbook he has. You used to think that he, entering your life, is a curse. Everything changed when you gave the friendship a chance but that's all you can think of him. He is only like a brother like you but who knows... maybe one day you'll wake up with your heart beating for a man that you just met at a party.

Hours of studying have passed and the both of you are now being watched by stars while studying. You start to get sleepy as the cold air blew. You didn't even notice that your head fell unto Kuroo's shoulders. It shocked the man beside you, he felt like his heart rate was controlled by you. He took the paper you were holding and placed it inside your bag. He slowly laid you down and snuggled you closer to him. He looked up to the stars and smiled.

"The stars are the only witnesses of the moments I'll treasure forever."
