My senses were taken by the most intoxicating and addicting smell in the whole world. It was the smell of pine trees mixed with hints of forest after rain. I sniffed the air and followed the smell til I reached the owner of the most intoxicating smell. CHRIS is the owner of the smell that means he is my mate . Yes I found my mate , Chris is my mate . I have always had a thing for him.
MATES ..... MATES ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFULL THING WHICH HAPPENS IN THE LIFE OF A WEREWOLF. MATES ARE THE OTHER HALF OF A WEREWOLF. YOU HUMANS ALSO DO HAVE MATES . YOUR MATES ARE KNOWN AS SOULMATES. MATE IS A PERSON CHOSEN BY THE MOON GODDESS FOR US. MATE IS THE ONE AND ONLY ONE PERSON WHO IS THERE TO LOVE US , PROTECT US NO MATTER WHAT.WHEN WE WEREWOLVES FIND OUR MATES ITS LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS STOPPED , EVERYTHING IS IN SLOW MOTION. WE WEREWOLVES KNOW THAT WE HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT PERSON AS OUR MATES ONLY BY THE SMELL , THE TOUCH. WHEN WE WEREWOLVES TOUCH OUR MATES SPARKS ARE ERUPTED FROM THE PART WHERE WE TOUCHED. WE CAN EITHER ACCEPT OR REJECT OUR MATE. BUT REJECTING OUR MATE IS UNCOMMON IN WEREWOLVES . THE PAIN OF REJECTION IS UNBEARABLE, WHEN A WEREWOLF REJECTS HIS /HER MATE , THE OTHER HALF THE MATE WHICH IS REJECTED FEELS LIKE SOME ONE IS RIPPING THEIR HEARTS OUT OR SOME ONE IS BREAKING THEIR AIR SUPPLY.
Chris saw me coming as he felt my presence he also sniffed the air and realisation hit him that I am his mate . Our eyes met and I could clearly see the anger and hatred in his eyes. Then chris said the most painful words I didn't want to listen. He rejected me , my own mate rejected me . I couldn't take the rejection , the pain of rejection was unbearable it was like someone has stabbed me repeatedly in my heart .
I couldn't take the rejection any more I ran to my room , packed my bags . When I finished packing my bags I wrote 2 letters one for my brother Carter who hates me now and one for Chris.
I took a last glance in my room , then I jumped from the window of my room and started running , I wanted to run away from my pack.
