I woke up underneath a huge oak tree. Dinama ko muna yung hangin dahil minsan lang ako makalanghap ng fresh air. Wait... Fresh air?! Where in the world am I?
"You go and check her. Baka anong nangyari sa kanya" I heard a girly voice not far from where I am.
Why am I beneath this tree? I'm sure we don't have this sa subdivision! The last thing I remember was telling mom that I'm going to sleep! Why am I here?
I breathe deeply because I don't want to panic especially that I heard that the guy agreed to come near me.
When I heard footsteps, nagtulog tulogan ulit ako. I'm scared. I don't know where I am and I'm not sure if anong mangyayari sakin dito.
"Miss, are you okay?" the guy asked with a familiar accent! British!
I decided to open my eyes slowly. I was shocked when I noticed his face is close to mine! Blue eyes! Ang gwapo! Wait... What the hell?!
I cleared my throat. "I don't think I am. I don't where am I" I said what's obvious. Hindi ko naman kasi alam kung na saan talaga ako!
He smiled before speaking "you're in adshsgdaj" he said. Wait! Saan daw? Di ko gets ha! Grabe naman kasi yung mata!
"Sorry? What's the name of this place again?" I asked and washed off what I was thinking. I have to be home before dinner! Eli and his family will have dinner in our house! Oh my gosh!
"This is Selcouth. Just a small town" he offered his hand at me so I could get up from lying on the ground. I'm not sure if I tatanggapin ko ba but when I looked at his face, he was smiling brightly! Ang gwapo talaga! Ang ganda ng mata, blue! Dagdag mo pa yung matangos niyang ilong! Ito yung mga type ko eh!
I reached his hand and stood up. His palm is calloused. Hmm. I don't mind though. That only means he's hardworking.
May biglang sumulpot na babae sa harapan namin while I was fixing my skort.
"Hi!" she greeted me merrily. Good mood ba palaging tong dalawa? Ang weird. They should not act friendly especially that I'm a stranger to them. Well, strangers din naman sila but... whatever.
"I'm Jasmine! What's your name?" bristish accent din! Grabe naman! Sige na nga, ako din.
"My name is Charlotte." tipid kong sagot. Shocked was evident to Jasmine's face. Uh- why?
"You're a brit?" she asked enthusiastically. I shook my head agad.
"Oh, sorry! I'm not." I smiled at her. Hindi naman talaga ako british but I spent my childhood years in UK so I have this british accent but I also know the American accent so...
"Ang ganda mo. Ilang taon ka na?" she asked me again and this time, I'm completely shocked. She knows how to speak tagalog? So, I'm still in the Philippines, right? But I haven't heard of Selcouth.
