The sunrays hit my eyes reason why I got up. Umupo muna ako sa kama staring blankly at my own reflection. After 20 minutes of doing nothing, I realized na I dozed off sa sofa in front of Lincoln. So, Lincoln brought me here?
Bumukas yung pintuan at iniluwa noon si Lincoln, topless. Napanganga ako. Di ba siya nahihiyang ibalandra sa akin iyang katawan niya? I mean, well, kung ganyan ba namang katawan, why not, right? May pagka tan yung complexion niya but you'll already know na mestizo siya. Thick brows, perfect jaw, pointed nose, blue eyes, and those seductive lips.
Nagulat nalang ako na nasa malapit ko na pala siya, naka white t-shirt and dark denim shorts.
"Whose room is this?" finally, I got the courage to ask. Nahihiya pa nga lang kasi I look awful early in the morning. I hate mornings!
"Mine." He simply said like it's no big deal to him that I'm on his bed.
"So, you mean to say, we- you know?" moving my hands as I asked him that silly question.
"Slept together? Uh, yeah? Is there something wrong with that?" he innocently asked! So normal lang to dito?! Like, really? OMG! Pilipinas pa ba talaga to? Pagchichismisan agad kami ng kapit-bahay pag nalaman nila yung mga ganto!
"Normal lang ba yun sainyo dito? No big deal?" agad naman siyang umiling as a response to my question. Weird.
After our small talk, I felt all puckish since kahapon pa ako di kumain and nag tsaa lang ako which is not good, I think? So, Lincoln cooked for our breakfast. It was no grand like I'm used to but the foods are tasty and I have an appetite to eat.
Lincoln was happy that I ate a lot which is another "weird" thing. He decided to tour me sa small town nila. Although I have a lot of questions to ask, I forced myself to shut up nalang muna. Along the way, we saw Jasmine wearing a cute dress. She immediately went to us when she saw me and Lincoln.
"Good morning, Rett. Good morning, Charlotte!" she greeted us then she took me away from Lincoln. Rett? Lincoln Rett? Yun yung pangalan niya?
We stopped at a flower shop and Jasmine bought baby's breath. When she paid for the flowers, I asked her agad.
"Lincoln's full name is Lincoln Rett?" tanong ko Jas. She smiled and shook her head.
"His full name is Lincoln Everett Abello. I am Jasmine Mitchell Abello. We are ¼ Brit and ½ Spanish. My mom and Lincoln's mom are sisters that's why we are cousin" she explained while walking. I saw Lincoln helping an old man carry the sacks of rice. When he was done helping, he glanced our way and waved his hand.
"So, you're not Filipino? But, marunong kayong magtagalog! And nasa Pilipinas tayo, diba?" I faced Jasmine. She only smiled.
"Rett! Come here!" sigaw ni Jas kay Lincoln.
Agaran namang lumingon si Lincoln sa amin. Di ako sanay na Rett tawag sa kanya. Nakakalito haaay.
