"yes, we'll make a plan later, now we have to take Melina to see Amos so he can heal her' Martinus said and we leave their house

A few minutes later we arrived at Amos' house and Marcus knocked the door, some seconds later Amos opens it " Hi guys and... miss" he said looking at me and he smiled "hi Amos, she is Melina" Marcus said "hello beautiful lady" he say and we shake hands "omg, what happened to you!" he said when he saw my arms "that's why we came, it's a long story" Martinus said "come in" he said stepping aside and we go in "here miss, take a sit, i'm going to heal your arms don't worry, just wait a second please" he said, he came back a few seconds later with a medicine cabined and he took my arms "black dot! Incredible, i thought it was a legend" he said surprised "that's what we thought until i transformed her" Marcus said "so you've get yourself a girlfriend huh Marcus, i'm not going to lie you chose well, she's so beautiful" Amos said looking at him and we laughed although i blushed a little "well, tell me what happened, how did she end up like this?" he asked and while he was healing my arms we told him everithing

"so that man is your father and you ended up being tortured by him just to save them, that man hasn't got a heart... oh sorry, i didn't mean to insult your father" he said and looked down "it's okay, don't worry" i said and he smiled a little "well, that's it, in some days it won't be any mark left" he said when he finished bandaging my arms "we still haven't told you the best thing" Marcus said "surprise me" he said "Melina knows where the vampire's ball is" Martinus said and Amos was speechless "really?" he said looking at me "yes, my father keeps it in his room" i said "wow, you are a miracle for vampires Melina" he said and i smiled blushing a little "we have to take it as soon as posible, Melina said that her father has already tried to break it several times" Martinus said " come on then, there's no time to lose" Amos said and we walked to my house

"It's here" i said once we were in front of my house "is he inside?" Amos asked scared "i don't think so, he usually goes to the bar with some friends, but we don't have too much time, he will come back soon" i said and we went inside, we go upstairs, we turn right going to my father's room "up here" i say opening the closet "get on my shoulders so you can reach it" Marcus said and so we did, i opened the safe and took the ball, then Marcus puts me dow "i knew you would come back looking for the ball" we heard my father saying behind us and we turn around scared, we tried to teleport but we can't, our powers don't work "give me that ball and nobody will get hurt" he said "never" i say and we all run to the door, Marcus, Martinus and Amos get out, but i don't, my father catch me before i can get out and as i had the ball he also kept it "let me go!" i screamed but he didn't do it "Melina!" Marcus said and he wanted to come back for me "no Marcus! Run! Leave before he can catch you too!" i said but he wanted to come for me anyway, fortunately Martinus stopped him "no, it's very dangerous, let's go" he said and they teleported away from here.

"I see you've been abandoned" he said pushing me inside a sphere in the basement "they'll come for me" i say hitting the glass "really? When? You'll probably be dead when they come" he said and pressed a red button, little by little i felt more and more weak "what is happening to me?" i asked before falling to the floor really weak "this sphere absorbs your vital force until you die, it isn't as painful as i would like but it's a really slow death and if you get out alive it will take you a really long time to recover yourself" he said laughing "i hate you" i said weakly "do you want to get out?" he said and i nodded "well, then tell me how to break this ball, it's made of glass but it's imposible to break" he said throwing it hard to the ground without even scratching it "i don't know, and even if i knew i wouldn't tell you, that would kill all the vampires" i said "that's why i want to break it, but i see that you are not going to colaborate" he said and get out leaving me there alone, almost death

*Much later*
*Marcus pov*

We have been watching Melina's father for many days to know when he's out and when he come's back, and today we have decided to rescue her, at the time when her father leaves for half an hour for a walk.

When he finally left the house we got in, we went to the basement and there was Melina, lying on the ground inside of a glass sphere "shit" Amos said "what happens?" i asked "the sphere, that machine absorbs the vital force of the vampire who is inside it, i can cancel it's effect, but without knowing how much time she has been locked there... i can't know if she's already..." he said "dead" i finished and a tear fell down my cheek "cancel the sphere's effect, maybe we still in on time" Martinus said and Amos did it, but it took him too long

"i see that you have come for her huh" Melina's father said and seeing that we had cancelled his machine he picked up Melina, who for my relief still alive, she looks so weak but she's alive and that's what matters tight now "while you were trying to rescue your dear Melina, i have already discovered how to break your ball" he said and put the ball on one of her hands and said some unintelligible words and the ball began to shine, then Melina yelled in pain and when the strong light disappeared the ball was split in two on the floor "good luck trying to fix it losers" he said throwing Melina to the floor and he left, we ran to her and i took her in my arms kneeling next to her

*Melina pov*

"

Melina!" Marcus said and i opened my eyes "Marcus..." i said very weakly "shhh, don't say anything you're very weak, we better take you to our house to rest, everything is going to be alright, okay?" Martinus said "guys...you forget something" Amos said and we looked at him confused "the ball, it's broken, we have two days to fix it or we will all die" he said taking the two pieces of the ball from the floor "shit, it's true, well let's go home so Melina can rest and meanwhile we think what to do" Marcus says and we teleport to their house, once there Marcus lay me on the bed and they start talking about how to repair it, Marcus gets in my mind so i can contribute something as i'm so weak that i can barely talk, but the only thing we know is that we are going against the clock and if we don't find out how to fix the ball soon we will all die with all the vampires that are in this world
