Marcus was right i just nedded some love and cuddles to feel better

Time passed and the death of Liam no longer affected me that much but i would always remember him, now i'm with Marcus cudeling on the couch, when suddenly i remember something or rather someone "Mara" i whispered "Mara?" Marcus asked confused "my best friend, i haven't been going to school, seeing or talking to her" i said taking my phone to see that i have a lot of messages from her, god she's so worried "what do i tell her now?" i said "tell him that Liam dead in motorbike accident like his parents" Marcus said and i remembered that moment when Liam told me that his parents died in a motorbike accident and i tryed to make him feel better "okay" i say

"I'm going to see Mara" i said standing up "be careful, i don't want your father to see and hurt you again" Marcus said "don't worry, i'll be fine" i said and teleported to the park.

"Melina!" Mara said when she saw me and she hugged me "hi" i said when we pulled out "i'm sorry about Liam, i know that you loved him, what are you going ti do now tha you've lost your boyfriend? Are you going to look for another?" Mara said, one tip about her, she's always talking about boys "oh, we break up before the accident, we didn't feel comfortable as a couple and i liked another guy, now i'm with him" i said as we sat down on a bench "who is the lucky one now?" she asked "Marcus" i said smiling "uh the mysterious boy with a mysterious twin brotger" she said and hitted my arm playfuly "he's not that mysterious, he jus keep a secret" i regreted the last words i said inmediately "uh, what secret?" she asked smiling "can't say" i said "don't worry, i already know it anyway" she said "i don't think so" i said "i'm not kidding, i know that they are vampires and that Marcus transformed you into one of them" she said "don't say stupid things, vampires doesn't exist" i said laughing to sound natural and hoping that she just invested that and it was just a coincidence "Melina i recognized the smell of the twins in you and i saw the mark of the bite" she said "you have gone crazy" i said "wow, when your father told me that you were a black dot i didn't believe it but it's true" she say taking my wrist hardly

"Mara! Let me go! You hurt me!" i said "your father will be so happy when i take you to him" she said draging me "you're on my fathers side?!" i asked struggling with her but she managed to immobilize me against a wall of an alley and puts something on my neck that cancels my powers "yes" she said close to my ear "He was the only vampire hunter" i said confused "one day when i got home i saw your father with mine, he told me that you had become a vampire, i didn't believe him at first, i thought that they were fairt tales, but then my parents told me that they were ex-vampire hunters and everything vampires did to my and your family, at the begining i couldn't believe that you became one of them knowing all what they have done but you did, then i joined your father and start hating you" Mara said pressing my body more agains the wall making me barely able to breath "why you hate me?" i asked "because you became a vampire although at first you didn't know what they have done but when you knew it and they gave you the opportunitie to retur to be normal you keep being by vampires side" she said applying even more pressure on my body "stop! I can barely breath" i said trying to let go, tears of pain and the thought of what Mara was doing and saying fall down my face.

I push back with all the strenght i had left and although Mara is stronger than me, i'm shorter and with the push she lifted up a little her arm but up enough to me to get out of his grap through it, i finally got Mara to let me go and i took of that strange object from my neck and inmmediately teleported to the twins' house, which had also become my house, i appeared just some metres away from Marcus "omg babe you scared me" he said overacting and puts a hand on his chest, i run to him and fall on his arms crying and he hugged me back really tight "babe? What happened?" he asked worried and i told him everything that happened in the park, that Mara was a vampire hunter, that she tricked me to meet her to take me to my father and provably kill me if she had the opportunity.

"Oh god" Marcus said when i finished "Liam died because of my father, Mara is a vampire hunter because of my father, they were my best friends and i lost both of them because of my father, it's like he takes away every single person i care about, i feel like i have nobody left, i feel so alone right now" i cried on his chest "you are not alone, you have me, Martinus, Amos and a lot of vampires that you don't know yet, we'll help you" Marcus said and kissed me softly "that's true" Amos and Martinus said at the same time, they were overhearing behing the door "thank you" i said wipping my tears away "that's what friends are for" Amos saud putting his hand on my shoulder.

After a long silence we heard a loud hit on the door and a few second later onother hit and the door falling to the ground making a us jump scared, then my father, Mara and her parents came in the room pointing us with guns and made the four of us get in the back of a van and they started driving, we didn't know where we were going, when we will arrive and if we were going to survive...
