I WASN'T WRONG
You're v handsome
I'm blushing-
Thank you
Jake smiled from behind his screen, a light flush creeping up his neck and blooming into his cheeks, tinting his skin a light shade of pink.
A slight breeze ruffled his hair as he smiled at the thought, a dash of warmth tingling somewhere in his veins. Just the thought of someone (even if the person was younger than Jake himself), so highly talented and praised upon was even talking to him, more or less befriending him and telling him he was handsome, filled the Australian with a sense of joy.
"He's nice. I like him a lot, even if we don't knew each other that well" he muttered to no one in particular, brushing his bare hands over the soft grass of his yard, coming across a small ladybug perched upon a particularly tall blade of grass.
"Well you're a pretty one aren't you" Jake smiled, letting the small creature climb off the grass and onto his index finger.
Slowly bringing the bug up to eye level, he quietly examined it's pretty wings, glossy and reflecting the warm sunlight of the afternoon rays. The ladybug now seemed quite content with it's current spot on the boy's finger.
Shortly after, it stretched it's wings and flew off, once again leaving Jake alone in the patch of grass.
Not completely alone, though.
He still had the company of his newfound friend, thousands of miles away, but still able to make a certain brunette very, very happy.
