Jimin's heat was approaching.

Jungkook already regretted he had ever agreed to this stupid plan, but it was too late for him to change on what Jimin had settled.
A few days after their decision it was time to change dorms and Jungkook begged his best friend for a different solution.

Since the incident in the cafeteria Jungkook hadn't seen the alpha, probably because he purposely tried to stay away from school. His friends didn't tell him, but from the gossip going around the omegas dorm Taehyung was spotted a lot with different alpha girls.

The first few days Jungkook's appearance had been terrible. Puffy eyes, gaze facing the ground constantly. He had never experienced a heartbreak before and surely he never expected it to be so bad. Since all the adults tell you stories as little pups about the perfect mate and overall the perfect love story, it had never been a possibility in his mind that he could feel this way one day.

Over the week though his expression changed, giving no emotion away. He kept the pain inside, especially for his friends, who wouldn't stop looking at him like he was a wounded dog.
He was a proud wolf no matter what rank.

Therefore he stood in the dorm hallway for the alphas waiting for Taehyung to open the door.
To his surprise - or more to his relieve - it was Yoongi who opened him.

"Ah, there you are. I've already packed my stuff, I was just waiting for you. How's Jimin doing?"

Jungkook stood there awkwardly.

"He woke up with higher temperature, but other than that he felt fine.", the omega mumbled.

"Got it. I'll check up on him soon.
Let's get you familiar with your temporary home first.
Taehyung won't be here for another hour or so."

Yoongi must have smelled Jungkook's unsettled feelings, because he gave him a reassuring smile.

"Anyways, I'll leave you on your own now. Keep it cool, Taehyung can be an asshole, but I talked to him about this week. He'll keep his temper to himself."

Jungkook actually wasn't relieved by the alphas's words, but he simply nodded.

"Have fun....", he answered with a half-hearted grin as Yoongi grabbed the bag with his clothes and walked towards the door.

"Mh... I'm sure we will"

With that the omega was alone.
Yoongi had changed the covers of the bed, probably so Jungkook would have a better sleep not having an alpha's scent all over him.
Still, Jungkooks' eyes wandered towards the small couch.
It would be a rough night, but he didn't feel like using another boy's bed.

As predicted the couch wasn't exactly the softest, but for a few nights it would be enough.
He was about to sit down, when he heard the front door opening.

For a second he thought Yoongi had left something, but that believe was crushed instantly when Taehyung stumbled in with a girl pressed to his side.

He gave her a big grin, nosing her neck until he sensed the presence of another wolf in the room.
His gaze met Jungkook's and he sighed pushing the girl slightly away from him.

"Ahh I forgot you'd show up here. You're kinda good at killing the mood, Jungkook."

No answer.
Jungkook stared towards Taehyung, then looked aside to the girl. The first seconds he had seen them he felt the icy cold disappointment and hurt, but when Taehyung spoke it changed to anger.
Taehyung had known exactly, that Jungkook was going to be here. He had hurt him purposely over and over again with no reason.
Though he held back for a moment.

"Taehyungie, we can go to my room if you want to. Seems like we're not getting any space here...", the girl spoke while eyeing the omega and leaning towards Taehyung.

He didn't even spare him a look.

"Yes, I'd like that. Let's go."
He nudged her arm and turned around, but that was the moment Jungkook let go of his anger.

"Don't you dare to go now, Taehyung. Not when I'm not done talking with you!"

He almost screamed, though it was not Taehyung giving him an answer.
The girl turned towards him.

"You better not talk to him like that, omega"
There was it again. The same disgust in her voice, as Taehyung always showed towards him. She had spit out his name like it was something dirty. She was an alpha, yes, but Jungkook didn't give a damn, how he would talk to her.
He was about to throw some fists, but surprisingly it was Taehyung, who stepped between them.

"Ignore him, Jiyeon. Let's go to your room"

He meant it to cool her down, but now she was furiously looking at him.

"Jiyeon? You're calling me like that bitch? I'm Yeji!
I can't believe we've been spending so much time together and you can't even get my name into your stupid head.
That's it, I'm leaving. Don't even think about coming with me."

She growled lowly and stormed off.

"Great", Taehyung mumbled and faced the door of his room.

"No! I said I'm not done with you", Jungkook intervened, before Taehyung could leave him behind.

"I'm done letting you treat me like shit. I get it, you don't like me.... Or actually, no, I don't get it.
You say you don't like me, you keep hurting me, by sleeping around with various girls, but you simply can't reject me.
Can't you just get over with this?
You're the most ignorant narcissistic ass I have met in my life and maybe I final realize, that I'm way better of without you.
So, if you can't reject me, I'll do it.
I don't want to be hurt anymore"

Jungkook looked at him fiercely ready to say the words to make the rejection official. Form stories he knew it would hurt a lot, but nothing could hurt as much as this. On the other hand, for once Taehyung needed to feel his pain.

He opened his mouth, about to say the words, but Taehyung turned around with widened eyes.

"No, dont!"

For a moment Jungkook thought he imagined it all, but Taehyung's expression didn't change.
It became even more concerned and anxious.
You could he had acted intentionally, now overthinking everything, but it didn't take long until he seemed to have settled on his decision.
With a serious look he answered again.

"Don't reject me as my mate."
