As I wake up, I'm alone at the headquarters. Arthur is dead, poisoned by Eggsy who discovered his betrayal, and my brother himself, Roxy and Merlin left to save the world from Valentine's sim cards. My only companions are sorrow and pain, thumping in my chest in the most unbearable way. Every single thing I look at reminds me of Harry. Every suit, every gun, every desk I ever saw him sitting at, the whole fucking base station. I need to get outta here. While I'm getting dressed properly, I scroll down in my contacts until I find Merlin and hit the call-button. I let it ring seven times before hanging up again and running down to the armory to get some equipment. It is very unusual for Hamish not to pick up, since half a year ago he didn't answer one of my calls when I almost died on a mission and needed his help. It wasn't his fault that he didn't pick up, he was involved in a very important meeting with Arthur and some politicians, but he kept blaming himself for my injuries and promised me to never ignore my phone calls again. A bit worried, I start up one of the computers and try to locate my three friends by the tracking devices in their high-tech glasses. Twenty seconds later I know why Merlin didn't answer my call. They are at Valentine's headquarters, and by hacking into the monitoring system, I also realize that they are pretty much fucked. Valentine set up a trap for them and my friends are about to run straight into it. It takes me five minutes to get down to our high-speed jet department and find a pilot for the fastest one we've got.
Approaching the runway in front of the bunker, I realize that I didn't think this through completely. Valentine has set up guards in front of the entrance, guards with some nasty big defense missiles, and I have neither an invitation nor any kind of granted permission to land here. I try to take the security system down by hacking into Valentine's server, but I'm not Merlin and my moderate programing skills are lacking sufficiency. As last hope, I try to call Hamish again. This time he picks up at the first ring. "Jane, where are you? I can hear the noise of an airplane in the background. Please tell me you're not on the way to Valentine's bunker." I snort. "That's exactly where I am, my genius friend. I just have one problem: I can't get into the security system in order to get a landing permission." "And you need me to get you one.", Merlin accomplishes my issue. "I love you Merlin, you know that, right?" He chuckles. "It's good to have you back, Percival." Then they tell us via radio that we are allowed to land.
As soon as we parked the jet, I make my way to the upper floor where the big airplanes are. It doesn't take me long to spot the one from Kingsman. "Hamish, where's Eggsy?", I immediately ask as I burst in. He stares at me, a bit startled. "Jane, honey, you look horrible.", Merlin finally manages to say with a worried face. "I know, smartass. I just lost my boyfriend, remember?" Shit, that came out harsher than it was supposed to. I sigh and let myself fall onto the chair next to him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. I know that Harry was your friend too." Instead of being angry at me, Hamish pulls me into a hug. "Hey, it's fine, you're having a hard time. I'm just worried about you, Jane. Are you sure you want to go after Valentine? You can help us from here, you know? Just stay in the plane, where it's safe, and I'll go help Eggsy..." "No.", I interrupt him, pulling away from his comforting embrace. "I need to do this, Hamish. He took Harry away from me. I want revenge." His gaze catches mine, then he nods. "Alright then. But be careful, I don't want to lose you too." He tells me where Eggsy is and how to get to Valentine's control center. Afterwards, he hands me Harry's customized pistol. "That was his favorite. He never gave it to anyone." "I know." A sad smile appears on his face. "I think he would have wanted you to get it." Then he puts his hand on my shoulder. "Good luck, Percival."
The party hall under the control center is full of corpses. Right as I step in, Eggsy uses one of them as a shield in his fight with Valentine's assistant. The bitch who stole my glasses. I already want to join their dueling when my gaze captures Richmond Valentine, who is standing one floor above us, his hand on the trigger for his deadly cellphone signal. I could have him. I could have him right now, shoot a bullet through his left eye into his brain, just the way he did it to Harry. Or maybe even scrape his eyes out and let him bleed. But then I look back at my little brother who now is struggling with defending himself and I decide that Eggsy goes first. I could never forgive myself if he died just because I had to get my revenge.
Screaming like a lunatic, I jump at Valentine's assistant and start strangling her with my bare hands. After twenty seconds, the bitch manages to bite me in the arm and throw me off. She turns around and kicks one of her razor-sharp leg prosthesis in the air, leaving a small wound on my cheek as it cuts into my flesh. A narrow trickle of blood runs down my face. As soon as Eggsy sees that, he snaps. "No one hurts my sister, you bitch!" Then everything seems to happen in slow motion. Valentine's bitch and my brother both start one last attack, jumping in the air. The blade of the prosthesis cuts of Eggsy's tie and almost reaches his throat, but just almost. In the mean time, my brother manages to get the hidden sting from his Kingsman shoes out and leaves a tiny little cut on her arm. Tiny, but lethal. A few moments later, she is laying on the floor, choking on the poison that covers the blade from Eggsy's shoes. A surprised shriek comes from the control center above us. Valentine. Eggsy's and my eyes meet before he steps aside. "He's all yours.", he declares. "Are you sure?" My brother nods. "You were the one who's boyfriend he killed. Now go get your revenge."
And I do. Harry's pistol fits so perfectly in my hands as it aims at Valentine's head, it feels like it was made for this moment only. Richmond Valentine doesn't beg. He knows the game is over. "That one is for my partner, you asshole."
The shot is very clean, goes straight through his head and leaves almost no blood on the floor. I step over his corpse, walking to the wall behind Valentine where the bullet got stuck. Pulling it out of the concrete, I smile triumphantly. "I'm going to keep this one.", I explain to the dead body on the ground. "I'll get it framed and hang it on the wall next to my bed."
