After finally being able to forget his shocked face and stop my continuous laughter that carried on for a long time, I freshened up changed into a similar set of clothing that I had on from before this one a black tunic with the same slits at the waist that stopped right below my stomach and another pair of the same black tight pants that i've grown to like. I stepped out of my room and towards my doom.

"Your late" was the first thing he said to me.

"Nice to see you again too," I said sarcastically.

His face was the pure portrait of annoyance. I didn't know someone could be so easily disgusted by another person. What a jerk. He could at least try to hide it.

" So.....are we leaving any time soon?" I said . No answer of course. He just kept looking up as if I wasn't there those shadows still surrounding his face making it hard not to look at him. God how could someone so annoying be so good looking. Damn it stop it Sierra remember he's a jerk.

"Ok, we're clear, let's go" He suddenly said.

"Go where ?" I asked

"Just stay quiet and follow me" He said and started walking towards the door that led outside.

So I followed him until we were outside and then suddenly out of nowhere 2 giant wings erupt from behind him. I jumped back.

"They don't bite" he said clearly amused by my sudden scare.

I smiled sarcastically. I was amazed they were beautiful. How could something look so elegant yet so aggressive at the same time. I didn't stare for long though I didn't want to give him the satisfaction that I was mesmerized by his clearly magnificent wings. I still couldn't come to terms with the fact that I have actually fallen into a world with Faeries who look like humans but instead are gorgeous people who apparently have wings and smart mouths.

"After you're done admiring my wings you think we can head out." He said bored.

"I wasn't admiring your wings first of all" Even though any idiot could tell I was but I couldn't let him win. "And second of all, where are we headed." I said.

"Let's go, you'll see in a second" He said, getting ready to go.

"How are we getting there ?" I asked.

"We're flying of course," He said completely in a total that's not crazy at all.

"Ahaha that's funny" I said

"I wasn't joking," He said with a straight face.

Wait he was being serious. Flying I mean I've been on a plane before but flying with wings. Oh god I was scared and terrified. Judging by the way he was looking at me I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped me. Those thoughts did not help at all.

"Ok let's do this" I said with a dramatic sigh following.

And in one motion he scooped me up, his oddly cold hands picking me up from below the back of my knees and his other hand wrapped around my waist and just like that we flew up.

The view was beautiful, the mountains in the background and the houses and streets below us filled with distant chatter and laughter. The wind blowing in my face gave me flashbacks to when Adam would take me out in his car and open up the huge sunroof and we'd scream our heads off as the wind blew in our hair. I closed my eyes and imagined the feeling of euphoria I felt and what I would do to get back to it.

The wind still blowing in my face I couldn't ignore the hot breath of air coming from behind me and landing on my neck. He was used to this I could tell. He barely made a single move since we took off and it had been a couple of minutes but he was still and unmoving. It was unnerving to be honest.
