In this chapter, the whole thing will be in Michael's POV and then the next one will be on Harper's POV so we can see what happens in one persons point of view... ENJOY.
Michael's POV I am waiting for Harper to get up and down stairs as I flick my keys impatiently waiting. "Your going to be late!" I yell "Hold on!" Harper said as I hear a whole lot of cloths being thrown on the floor, finally she comes down stairs with her back pack and grabs a breakfast bar as we go out to my car. "Sorry it took long, I have laundry to do when I get back..." she said shyly. "No need to get shy I have things I need to wash my self" I said and she looked the other way. Somethings up with Harper, first she wakes up late, then search's for cloths due to the weather being extremely hot, then says she needs to wash cloths and barley eats! I wonder if she had a bad dream or maybe we stayed it a little bit over her sleep schedule? I don't know what but I still want her to feel comfortable with me and at least try to tell me everything that comes in her mind because I have powers to and sometimes it gets hard especially when you have sleep visions. Sleep visions are like having a vision while your sleeping and it repeats all the time. Usually the first one is blur but then it's more clearer and it causes nose bleeding sometimes but that's usually when your awake and the same vision from the dream pops up out of no where. A few minutes later As we arrive at Harper's school she makes it in class before the first bell and meets up with her friend Hailey. They seem very close, I'm glad that Harper has Hailey as a friend and kept her secret I can tell their going to be friends for a very long time. "Okay class we have a quiz before exams soon so everything you guys learned will be in the quiz. You'll have 35 minutes to complete this quiz so I want Tammi to pass out the papers and Gale to give out pencils for the people who doesn't have one" The English teacher says as two students stand up and pass out the papers and pencils. Once that was done, everyone started to do the quiz. "Umm sir can I please talk to you?" The English teacher calls me up fixing her glasses and I stand up and go towards her. "Here outside so the students can do their test" she said and I nod going outside holding the door for her. "Yes?" I ask and she clears her throat. "I got a message from the principal saying that you were Harper Green's body guard, and I wanted to let you know if she ever has to leave early during my class your more likely to just walk out with her" she said and I nod smiling a little and shake her hand "Thank you miss...?" I say "Oh Mrs. Wane" she said and opened her room door. "Jackson" I say and walk back in the class. "thanks" I said and sit right next to Harper who gave me a weird look before going back to her quiz. What's the look for babygirl? I say in her mind. Oh nothing, I already heard the conversation. She responds. And I shake my head a little before drinking blood out of my black bottle. I only do it before I start to feel thirsty for humans or animals before it's too late but like I said it is hard trying to keep a secret from Harper because I want to be honest with her and try not to put her life at risk if she finds out the hard way... After the quiz An alarm comes off in the class and I look at Harper and Hailey who was already done with their quiz and started talking a little. "Okay everyone put your pencils down and turn your papers the other way as Tammi collects them" Mrs. Wane said as the girl stands up and collects everyone's papers. After the collecting the teacher let's everyone have free time the rest of the class. "So Hailey did you talk to your crush or get his name?" Harper says as I sit there in my phone texting Ann to make sure Jack is okay. "He is okay but how about we talk at my house it's better face to face" Ann texts back. "Okay but I'm bringing Harper with me, I feel that her safety is important as well" I text "Okay I'll just tell everyone to stay in their human forms" she texts "Wait everyone?" I text her "Yes, but you'll find out later okay? right now I have to go" Ann texts "Okay, see you later then" I text and she texts goodbye before the bell rings. After school "Okay I'll call you later Hailey" Harper said as we walk to my car. As we get inside I put my seatbelt on and start the engine as I drive out of the school parking lot. "I have to go to Ann's but your coming along for a while" I say and she looks up with sadness in her eyes. "Is Jack okay" she asks "Yes he is okay" I say as I stop at the red light. "Listen, I want you to know something" I say as the light turns green and I take a left turn. And look at Harper who was staring out the window. "I know you've been having sleep visions lately" I say hoping that was the issue of this morning. "Are you reading my mind?" Harper said getting a bit mad "No! Wait- what I was right?" I ask "Yes! But I swear I've never had a sleep vision in a year-" I interrupted her sentence. "It only happens when something very tragic happens, then it causes you to wake up late" I say. "It started with me crying, everything was blurry and I couldn't take out anything or use my powers" Harper says as I make it to the drive way of Ann's place with 4 other sets of cars. "Then there was blood and-" Harper stopped for a minute. "I can't remember..." she said "I understand" I say before getting out. "Why are we here again?" Harper says shutting the door as the wind blew on her face causing hair to get in her face. "Ann wants to tell me something" I said and she hums as I knocked on the door. "Hey Michael" Ann said "Hey Ann" I said and she looked at Harper and started smiling. I remember Ann was around Harper sense she was a baby. "Harper, you've gotten so beautiful" Ann said and Harper blushed "Thank you Aunt Ann..." Harper said as Ann let us in where everyone was at. "Michael my man!" Zackery says. "Zac man it's been a while" I said giving him a slight hug. "Look at Harper" he said with almost a slight smirk. "Hello." She said getting a bit uncomfortable. "Zackery go somewhere else!" We here Rebecca say and he flinched as if someone just hit him and mumbled before sitting down. "Okay everyone!" Ann says as she gets everyone's attention. "If your all wondering why I brought you here is to tell you something" she said. And pulled out a piece of paper out of she pocket. "The message from Jack was found last night by TJ" Ann said as she began to read to everyone. If you are reading this I have moved back to my hometown and will be staying there for a while. I don't know if or when I'm coming back because I've caused a bit of trouble lately like getting hurt due to my recent job. If you are wondering how I'm doing I'm perfectly fine if it wasn't for Harper's Blue Fire I would of died, I feel like I've caused a lot of trouble for you guys and I didn't want you guys to worry about me so that's why I moved. Tell everyone and Harper that I will miss them especially Harper and tell her thank you for saving my life. I left a gift for her that was supposed to be for her birthday but she can open it early. Love you all with all my heart and don't be sad 'Harper' I'll forever be in your heart. With my love: Jack Ann finishes reading the note and took the present from the table as Harper starts crying. "Shhhh don't cry" I say and rub her back as everyone comes to give her a hug. I believe Jack was the closest one to Harper than me or anybody else here. "Here. Open it when you get home" Ann said and handed her the small box. "Michael I want to go home" Harper said and I nod "Why so soon?" Zackery said and I gave him a look before he backed up with his hands up in surrender. "Okay let's go" I said and got up, everyone speechless their selves as Harper and I left Ann's house and got in the car. The whole ride Harper was sad that Jack had left and I was too, he was a great friend even though he would get on my nerves he was still a god friend. As we got to the house I opened the door and Harper goes in first going to sit on the stool on the kitchen counter as I think it's better off if I leave her along for a while. "Wait don't leave..." she grabbed my arm. "How about we go to your little house? Maybe that will cheer you up" I say trying to bring up the mood and she smiled a little before walking towards the backyard as I follow her and walk inter the little house that could fit about 4 people. "Here sit with me" I said and put my arms out as she sits next to me and hugs me and cries. "It's okay, I'll miss him too" I said. "I wish he could stay..." she said softly almost whispering. "Me too, but if it's best for him maybe Jack could visit you when he wants" I said. "Can you call him?" Harper asks "Of course! Anything to make you happy" I said and took my phone out dialing his number. "Hello Michael..." Jack says. "Hey, uhh Harper is here with me and she wants to talk to you." I said "Hold on for a second Harper" I said and stepped outside. "She's been dealing with a lot and your the closest person in her heart who can understand" I said looking at Harper through the small window. "Put her on the phone I want to talk to her" Jack said and I went back inside to give Harper the phone. "I'll leave you alone imma see if we have anything for dinner" I said and she nodded and started to talk to Jack as I went back inside and thought of something to make before it got dark. It's 3:56pm and Harper and I left the school at 2:30pm, arrived at Ann's around 3:00 and left at 3:25pm so it's almost 4 and dinner needs to be served around 8:00 from what Susie says sense Harper has major sleep schedules for different school days such as early release. My sleep schedules are when I run out of energy from using my powers too much or when I have to hunt. My feeding schedules are usually every 3 hours sometimes a whole day if I take the right amount. I look around the kitchen and try to figure out what we could eat but I realized that we have to go to the store. "Oh shit really..." I whine as I look at an empty fridge that only has drinks and cold snacks. I listen for any type of noise when I sense someone at the door. I wait for a knock and when it knocks I open it to see a mail man with a letter and a box. "Are you Harper Green?" The mail man asks "No but I'm her body guard she isn't present at the moment" I said "Okay well, I have a letter and a package, so could you sign this for her?" He said and I nod my head taking the pen from him and sign Harper's name with my perfect hand writing. "Here you go sir, have a nice day" he said and walked away as I closed the door. "Okay, we'll talk later" I hear Harper's voice echo through the living room. "Okay bye" she smiled and put the phone away from her ear. "Thank you" she said and handed my phone back and I smiled. "Your welcome" I say. "Oh yes this is for you it just came in the mail" I said and handed her the letter and the box that had another letter attached to it. "This has your name on it Michael" Harper said and gave me the letter that actually had my name on it as Harper goes upstairs as I open the letter. Hello Michael, it's Susie. Just wanted to check up on you and Harper to make sure everything is okay, I didn't text or call because my phone got damaged but don't worry I'm fine. I put a credit, debit card in for you with your name in it and with money in it so you can do things for your self. Thank you for everything and tell Harper I said I love her. I look at the two cards and smile a little as I put them in my pocket. I appreciate what Susie does and I really hope she is safe searching for the 'bad ones' "Okay! Yea girl that's fine but I'll miss you!" I hear Harper say "Okay bye" Harper said and chuckled. "Hey" I said, happy that I see her smiling. "Oh hey sorry, Hailey Hailey called to tell me she won't be at school the rest of the week because she has to take care of her older brothers children in Canada" Harper said and I nod my head as I listen to what she says. "Oh okay! Well we have to go to the store to get more food supplies" I said. "Ohh I'll make a list on what we'll need" Harper jokes and we laugh "Welp come on let's go so we can make dinner and put you to bed" I said "Hey! I'm not a baby" she said and I laugh. "Your cute even when your not trying" I say and she blushes looking down and I use my thumb to pick her head up. "Come girl! Smile!" I say and she giggles before smiling. "Perfect!" I say as we hop in the car as I start to drive. I switch to some radio sense it's what people do to listen to Music. "Ohh thats my song!" Harper says and starts to sing to it. I bob my head to the sound and it sounds pretty amazing I even started to memorize the whole song with out even knowing it. What the world needs now, is love sweet love. I sing and Harper looks at me with her mouth open wide. As the song comes to and end I stop the car at we make it at the grocery store. "Michael I didn't know you could sing" she says as we get out the car. "Well I've learned from many of my families who used to be singers" I say and shrug my shoulders as we walk inside the store as I grab a cart. As we walk in Me and Harper get stares from all the women in here but clearly it's me because a lot of women have been trying to 'do me' "These girls mind are all over the place" Harper whispers at me and I nod as dirty images come across the women's faces. "Let's hurry up and get out of here" I say feeling a bit tense with the stares from all these women. "Okay let's hurry" Harper said. A few minutes later Me and Harper finally leave the store after what felt like hours but it was actually 6 minutes. "See that was fast" Harper says putting the groceries in the back seat and went in the car. I chuckled a little and got in and turned on the engine. By the time we got to the house it was already 5 so I had enough time still to make something. After making dinner "Yay your done!" Harper giggles and I laugh. "Sorry to keep you waiting, it's hard trying to figure out what to make for dinner." I say and give her a plate. "Your not going to eat?" She asks and I shake my head. "I'm not hungry at the moment" I say and drink this orange juice. Wow this juice is good! I thought in my head. "Wow this is good, and I only know how to make spaghetti" Harper says "There is a cooking book. You could start with the simplest think on their and read the steps, it's pretty easy once you get the hang on it and besides you can also use your powers with some of the help" I said and close my mouth Damn it! Now she is definitely gonna want to start cooking and possibly burn the house!!! Good thinking Michael good thinking. I scream in my head. "Oooo I want to try and make something for tomorrow!" Harper said and I groan underneath my breath knowing this may or may not go well. "If you want." I say sharply. WHAT. THE. FUCK!!!!! An hour later Gosh all my energy is waisted! I groan up I walk up the stairs and go into my room as Harper goes to her room getting ready for bed. I shut the door to the bathroom and turn on the shower and get in after taking my cloths off. I sigh as I feel the water run through my body as I look up with my eyes closed. A few minutes later As I get out the shower putting a towel over my waist as I look in the closet for something to wear for tonight and tomorrow. Yep I definitely need to wash more clothes. I thought as I look at the hamper with my already worn cloths. I take out a red sulky button down shirt and black pants with red and black along with my regular shoes and set that out for tomorrow as I put in sweatpants and just sleep shirtless for the day. Knock* Knock* I groan as I hear the door knock for the hundredth time. I open my eyes and look at the door trying to sense something but I realized it wasn't my door that was knocking it was the window. I sit up trying to know what the sound is until... I wake up breathing hard when I see Harper next to me shaking me as I sit up.

"Michael are you alright!" Harper asks and I sigh. "It was just a dream" I said "I thought you were having a heart attack! You were breathing hard" she said and gave me a hug. Wait what the fuck! Was all I thought in my head. "It's late you should go to sleep..." I said and she shook her head no. "I want to make sure your alright so I'll be staying with you" she said sternly. "Okay fine" I said giving up and laidback on the bed with a sigh as Harper is still hugging me. I giggle a little because I'm supposed to be protective about her, but I I'm not bothered with it sense she worried about me. What type of dream did I have? Was it trying to tell me something. Like maybe trying to warn me? It was just tapping on the window but I couldn't see anything at the window. I sigh as all these questions pop up in my head, trying to close my eyes so I could have energy but nothing was working sense my whole body was still recovering the dream I had. Now I have all the energy I need as Harper softly breaths as I place her in a more comfortable spot and go in the attic and just sit there until the sun rises.
