Chapter 4 (long)

Still Michael's POV
It's been about a day sense Harper saved Jack's ass from almost dying and I can tell she was a bit worried for him, hell even I was. I've known Jack sense he was born really, But I'm not telling that story. I wanted to cheer Harper up somehow but I didn't know how so I went Harper's friends house while she was still sleeping.
"Well she dances ballet" Hailey said.
"I saw, it was beautiful" I said remembering how I saw her float in the air.
"Yea she told me she dances to take bad memories or recent things out of her head to make her relax more" she said and I nod sitting down, she invited me inside her house to sit and I accepted, don't know why but I needed information.
"I also that Harper has this tiny house in her back yard, sometimes she goes in there to read or do something but I've never been in there" Hailey also said.
"Really? Because she went in there yesterday because of-" I stopped my self to find another sentence.
"Because a very close family member almost died in her face yesterday" I said referring to Jack, I still couldn't get what happened out of my mind...
"Hello...you there? You seem zoned out" She said and I snap back to reality.
"Oh yes, sorry I was thinking of something." I lied but luckily Hailey didn't notice a thing, I smelled the air a little and smelled something very unfamiliar, then the door opened, must be her human parents.
"Oh then-" the mom said talking to the dad but stopped when they saw me.
"Hailey, honey who is this?" They ask Hailey, and point at me. All this blood is making my hungry for some.
"Oh this is Harper's... friend! Yes and he came because he told me Harper was down and he wanted to know how to make her happy again" Hailey said even though most of it is true she was still lying a bit.
"If this is Harper's friend why does he need your help?" The dad said.
"Because he just came back from... New Jersey!" Hailey said as they looked at me.
"Thank you Hailey, but I should be going now." I said, I needed to get out of here or there will be blood everywhere from me. Then I felt a grab on my upper arm and it was the dad.
"Don't come near my daughter again...." he said and I was kinda getting mad so I gabbed his arm but tighter.
"I don't think you know me very well but let me make this clear" I said and twisted his arm a little.
"Ahh!" He screamed in pain.
"I am not messing with your daughter, I came for questions, secondly stop treating her like she is a child and let her grow up like a young lady should and thirdly" I said and let go of his hand.
"I'm not who you think I am" I said and glared at his ad I walked to my car and drove off.
Harper's POV
I am sitting in my little house that is in the back yard of my house and just sit there reading. This reading is not helping! I throw the book away from me and curl up in a ball, I don't know what I am feeling. It is sadness, am I mad? All these mixed emotions are driving me crazy! I groan in frustration. I get up off of the chair I was sitting on and open walk to the door. As I am opening it I bump into Michael.
"What do you want?" I ask, my voice sounding horse.
"Well I was wondering if you would like to go to the beach tonight" Michael asks. I think for a second, I really love beaches, especially at night. I nod my head with a slight smile, Michael smiled his million dollar smile and moved a bit for me so I could get through him and walked inside the house with me.
"I made lunch" he said and my stomach growled at the smell of it.
"Thanks Michael, I really appreciate it" I said as he gave me my plate with my favorite homemade spaghetti. I almost cried of how good it tasted. Just like my moms. I thought and ate more as Michael went upstairs, probably to his room. I'm getting a weird vibe from him. I thought and finished eating and went to take a hot shower.
After I was done I hear a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" I said and opened the door to find Hailey and her angry dad behind her.
"Hey, Hailey uhh what's going on?" I ask.
"You can speak with her alone and tell her what I said too!" Her dad said and she sadly came inside and her dad went in his car.
"here sit" I said as I see a tear fall from her eyes.
"Today when Michael came over..." Hailey said, and I turn around looking over Michael as he drank something out of a dark bottle.
"Michael went to your house?" I ask
"Yea, he wanted to know what could make you feel better until my parents came" Hailey said.
"Let me tell the story Hailey" Michael said getting on the topic.
"When her parents came in they immediately thought we were doing something so when I politely wanted to leave her dad got hold of he saying not to come hear Her!" Michael said pointing at Hailey.
"And did I mention he grabbed my arm so I grabbed his and almost broke it" Michael said trying to control his anger a little bit.
"I'm sorry about him Hailey" I said and Hailey nodded.
"My dad says that if this happens again we can no longer be friends meaning Michael can't go near me ever and if my dad ever finds out he'll separate us from each other" Hailey said and I rub my hands together as they started to turn blue. I can sense she is in pain but where? I thought.
"Harper there is no need for your powers" Hailey said.
"Are you hurt?" I ask and Michael comes up to us seeing what's the problem.
"N-no I'm not hurt Harper what's going on!" Hailey started to get scared.
If it wasn't for my stupid dad I wouldn't have these marks!! I read her mind.
"Turn around and lift up your shirt" I said.
"I said I'm fine!" Hailey said and the blue fire surrounding my hand was turning more blue and with fire.
