Y/n P.O.V.

I have just gotten off work for my lunch break when my boyfriend Fives calls me on my comlink. Fives had been on a mission on the planet Ringo Vinda. He promised to call me when he arrived back on Coruscant. I was walking towards my blue airspeeder when he called.

"Hey, Ad'ika," sweetie. I said, using the nickname I gave him, smiling, not looking at the screen yet, as I was getting into my airspeeder.

"Hey, um, Cyar'ika," darling. I hear the hesitation in his voice. My smile turns into a small frown. I finally look at the screen and see an odd sight. Fives had shaved his head, and his eyes were full of worry and paranoia.

"Are you okay? Did the mission go well?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowing, and his eyes seem to soften when they meet mine through the transmission.

"I just need to talk to you about something important, but we have to be alone," he says, looking around him to make sure no one is overhearing this conversation.

"Fives? You're starting to worry me. Is everything okay?" I ask in concern for my boyfriend.

"I can't say, in case someone is listening, but meet me at this location," he states, and a few seconds go by when I get coordinates to a warehouse in sectors 1–9 under Coruscant.

"Okay, I got the coordinates. I'll meet you there. Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum." I love you.

"I love you too."

I sigh when the call ends. I start up my airspeeder and head to the warehouse, where Fives told me to meet him. It only took about 15 minutes to get to the meeting spot. I parked my vehicle behind some crates that were stacked on top of each other. I hop out and see a speeder bike that Fives must have used. I open the door that leads into the warehouse and peek in a little.

"Fives?" I say it in a small voice, but it echoes through the building.

"Y/n?" Fives, I breathe out in relief as I see him come out of hiding. I quickly walk over to him and pull him into a tight hug. With my hands around his neck and his on my lower back, he pulled me close. He snuggles his head into the crook of my neck. I lean my head on top of his, closing my eyes in relief with a smile on my face. I don't have to worry about him or his safety; instead, I have him in my arms. I pull back from the hug and cup his face with my hands.

"Fives, what's going on? You seem worried about something. You know you can trust me," I say as he leans into my touch.

"Something big is happening. I don't know the full extent."

"What's happening?"

"There's a chip in every clone that can make all of us do someone else's bidding. Even kill a Jedi," he says, opening his eyes. His eyes show nothing but seriousness. My eyes widen in shock, and my mouth is slightly ajar.

I stand in shock, at first not being able to believe his words, but Fives has never lied. Therefore, I have no reason to think he would start now, especially with words that hold so much significance.

Suddenly, the noise of multiple aircraft can be heard outside the warehouse. I look behind me in worry. I look back at Fives with worry. He takes my hands in his.

"Y/n, love, I need you to hide and not move or say anything. Got it?" Fives ask for confirmation. I nod my head and lean in quickly to give him a kiss on the lips.

"I love you," I say as we pull back.

"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum," Fives says, taking my right hand up to his mouth. He then kissed my knuckles.
