Chapter 7- My superhero

(Six months later)

Justin's P.O.V

"You can't get me!" Amelia yelled while giggling to herself, while I chased her around the living room, laughing. I let her get ahead of me for a while, until I crouched down behind the couch. I smiled to myself as I head Amelia getting closer, her giggles getting quieter, but still there, and she's panting a little. "Daddy?" She asked with a slight giggle in her cute voice. She walked to the side of the couch, right where I was, but she didn't see me, as soon as she took a step, I grabbed her, "I GOT YOU." I yelled as she screamed and started laughing as I laughed to. I started ticking her. "Daddy stop!" She laughed. I laughed, and after a while I stopped and kissed her small nose, making her scrunch her small face up making me laugh. Just then he doorbell rang, "Okay monkey how about you go finish coloring while I get the door?" I asked her as I set her down. She nodded and ran back to the coffee table we were coloring at. I walk to the door and open it, revealing officer Jason, I smiled and be gave me a slight smile in return. "Hey officer Jason." I greeted. "Hey Justin." He replied. "So is this another check up?" I asked. He shook his head and I raised my eyebrows in confusion. "I'm taking Amelia to the orphanage." He said. Just then my whole world came down, "What?" I asked. "Remember when I first got here with Amelia? You signed the papers for me to come back and take her to the orphanage after the sixth month time period." He said. I shook my head, "No. I'm sorry, but You can't take her away from me." I said. "You signed the papers Justin. You didn't want Amelia Blue in your custody and by law, I have to take her with me to the orphanage." He said sternly. I heard a gasp and turn around behind me and see Amelia standing there, tears in her eyes. "You don't want me anymore?" She asked me. I shook my head and walked over to her. "No no no monkey it's not like that I promise, I love you with all my heart and I don't want you to go!" I said. But she just handed me the paper she was working on, "Goodbye...... Justin." She said as she walked over to officer Jason and they go into his car, and drive away, leaving me calling after them and tears coming from my eyes. I look down at the picture she gave me and unfolded it......., it was a picture of us two holding hands and smiling, and at the top it said:

"My daddy is my superhero"
