mattia:come in
he said and I opened the door and walked in. omfg he look so hot- I didn't realize I was staring until mattia waved his hand infront of my face.
mattia:hello
ava:oh shit
I said and mattia started laughing.
mattia:you look nice
ava:thank you so do you
I said and he smiled. he grabbed his phone and we left. we got into his car and he started to drive to Taylor's house. after about 10 minutes we got there. mattia parked the car and we got out. we walked and then smell of liquor already hit us. we were greeted by Taylor once we walked in.
Taylor:heyy you guys made it!!
ava:we wouldn't miss it!
I said as she gave us a hug.
Taylor:well you guys know where everything is if you need anything let me know
she said and we nodded as she walked away. me and mattia found the group and they all said hi to us. we joined into there conversation and we were all having fun. the boys went to go gets some drinks so it was just me and the girls.
ava:okay so let's talk about how hot mattia looks-

ava:shut uppp
I said as I playfully hit her.
Naomi:okay but I need y'all back together y'all were a power couple
she said and we all laughed. we talked some more before the boys came back.
mattia:here I got you some soda
mattia said while handing me a cup.

I said and he nodded. we were all dancing around and just having fun. there was now 1 minute left till midnight. we all gathered around the tv and everyone was standing next to there friends and partners.
mattia:hey come with me really quick
he said pulling me aside.
ava:yeah what's up?
mattia:I just wanted to to say, that this year was amazing. if you didn't move here we would have never met. and I'm so grafteful we found eachother. just because we're not together doesn't stop the fact that I love you so much and I hope the next year as good as this year was
he said and I swear my heart melted.
ava: awww mattia your so sweet, I love you so much and im so glad we met eachother
i said giving him a hug. we smiled and then walked back to the group.

everyone was either kissing someone or cheering. I looked over at mattia and leaned in. I felt him smile into the kiss. we eventually let go and smiled.

he said smiling and we walked over to the group. we all gave eachother hugs and said happy new year. it was 1am and everyone was starting to leave. we all said bye to Taylor and then left. mattia ended up not drinking so he was going to drive. we said bye to the group. we made it back home and we quietly walked upstairs. before I walked into my room I went over to mattias.

I smiled and started to walk out. before I could walk out mattia grabbed my arm and turned me around. he grabbed my face and kissed me. we let go and smiled before I walked out. I got into bed and smiled remembering the year before I quickly fell asleep.

- 1 MONTH LATER-
it was time for all of us to head back to campus. these past few weeks we've all been hanging out and me and mattia have become extremely close again. but I haven't told anyone about our kisses and stuff. other schools ended up extending our winter break so we've had the whole month off. i packed up all my stuff and was ready to head back. I said bye to mattias parents and gianluca already since they had to go to work and school. I went into mattias room to say bye before I left.
ava:hey I'm going to leave now, just wanted to say bye.
I said and he got up and walked towards me.
mattia:aw okay I'll see you later then
he said hugging me.
ava: alright I'll see you later mattia
mattia:bye ava
he said before I walked out of his room and he walked me out. I got into my car, started it, waved at mattia one last time, and then started to drive back to campus.
