ava's pov:
I got into the car and put her next to me.
ava:hi baby
I said slowly opening the cage. she looked so scared.
ava:aww baby it's okay
she slowly walked out and came onto my lap. I started to pet her and she was starting to calm down. I played with her a bit before putting her back into the cage and driving home. I got home and brag her up to the apartment. it was now like 12:30 so mattia would be home pretty soon. I took out of her cage and let her roam around. I looked through the bag of free stuff and there was a couple free toys. I took the tags off of them and laid them around so she could come play with them. she immediately ran over to the toys and started playing with the them. i got a text from mattia saying he was just down the street but i didn't reply to mattia.I quickly picked her up and put her back into the cage. I closed the cage and then put it close to the door so mattia would see her as he walked in. i ran and got into the small closet we have in the hallway. shortly after I hear the door unlocking.
mattia:omg- AVA?
I didn't say anything and just stayed quiet.
mattia:hi baby how did you get here
I heard the cage open.
mattia:ava are you home?!
he yelled. I stayed quiet again.
mattia:avaaaa
I heard him walk past the door and heard him go into our room. I got out of the closet and walked out. he turned around and I saw him holding the cat.
mattia:baby, how did- I thought she was-
ava:I'm the one who adopted her
I said giggling.
he let her out of his arms and gave me a big hug.
mattia: I love you so much
ava:I love you too
mattia:when did you adopt her?
ava:after you left for work
mattia:really?
ava:yeah, what should we name her?
mattia: i like the name Luna
ava:that's a really cute name, I think it fits her really well
I said smiling.
mattia:well then Luna it is
he said with a big smile. we walked over to her and she jumped onto the couch.

we sat on the couch and she climbed into mattias lap. we sat and played with her for a bit.
ava:I have to set up her little grass area on the balcony I'll be back
I said getting up. mattia nodded and I walked to the balcony. I had bought this grass square and I put it in the corner. we still needed to decorate the balcony so I decided to go that as well. after about 30 minutes I had finished and it ended up looking like this:

I went back inside and saw that mattia and Luna had fallen asleep. I put a blanket on mattia and slowy picked up Luna and took her to her bed. I was about to go take a nap when I got a text from James.

James
hey, sorry this is so last minute
but it's really busy and I was
wondering if you could come in?
you could leave at like 6. this will
also start your paycheck

ava
hi, sure i can come in, I'll be there in 15!!

James
okay see you then!

I quickly put on some jeans and a plain black shirt. I put my hair up into a ponytail and then wrote a note to mattia saying I got called into work. I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse and keys. I got into the car and drove to the bakery. once I got there I walked in and James handed me my hat and apron.
James:hey
ava:hello
James:can you go frost that cake in the back, I left a inspiration photo of what the costumer wants just copy it onto the cake and all the order details are on there
ava:okay
I put in the hat and apron and put my bag down in the staff room....
