the pool actually represents 'love' & hyunjoon kept on telling airi to stop comin closer to him bcs he might fall in 'love'.

but airi, being airi, ofc she didn't listen to him and kept coming closer that's why hyunjoon tried stepping back to distance himself from her but he fell in love instead.
