My eyes fluttered open to see I was in a room, not just any room though, I was in a hospital room, I looked around me to see that Eleanor was on a chair beside my bed and Maya was sitting on a chair in front of my bed, I moved slightly and tapped Eleanors hand making her wake up as soon as I did so "oh my god, hey" he smiled moving the hair out of my face "hey, what happened?" I asked looking at her with frowned eyebrows, she gave me a sympathetic smile and looked at my arms, I looked down to see that my wrists were all bandaged up, I looked up at her ready to say something before I got cut off "your awake" I heard Maya said as she yawned with a smile on her face standing up and walking to sit on my bed "who found me?" I asked looking at the both of them, they both gave each other a look then back at me "I did" Eleanor said as she cleared her throat "I'm so sorry guys, I promise I won't do it again, it was so solid of me" I said holding their hands "it's okay" Maya said with a tight lipped smile "where's Matthew and Shemar? This doesn't look like the hospital back home either" I said looking around me one last time "yeah, um, their back home, your in the actual hospital" Eleanor spoke making my eyes go wide, it must've been bad if Matthew actually let me leave "when do I get to go home?" I asked "today, we brought you a hoodie and leggings to get changed into" she smiled Maya wasn't talking much which I thought was a bit weird "we'll leave you to it, we're gonna go back home, we can't stick around to long" she said standing up as I did to, I frowned my eyebrows slightly and nodded, I grabbed my clothes and was going to walk into the toilet until I heard my name being called "cherry" Maya spoke with a hint of sadness in her face "yeah?" I asked looking back at her "I love you" she said pulling me into a tight hug "jeez may your gonna see me again" I laughed hugging her back then pulling away "I know" she nodded as her eyes got glossy, what is going on here? "I love you to may" I smiled holding her hand "we gotta go, love you cherry" el said with a tight lipped smile and her and may walked out of my hospital room.
I got ready and sat on my hospital bed watching the tv then I heard a knock at the door and someone walking in "hello Darlene, it's good to see your awake, I'm sure your happy to hear you can go home there's a car waiting outside for you" she smiled I hesitated for a bit but nodded and gave her a smile back "okay, thank you" I said she walked out of my room and I took a deep breath I didn't know why but I have a bad feeling, is Matthew picking me up? He's going to be so mad.
I walked out of the hospital to see a black car and a familiar face "hey rob, where we going?" I asked looking at him as he opened my door for me "I'm taking you home" he said in his deep voice then getting in the drivers side "oh okay" I nodded getting into the car.
It was a while later and I looked up as the car stopped "we're here miss evans" he said "perfect" I smiled ready to get out the car until I noticed where I was, I was back home, like at my house, why was I here "why am I here, why am I not at home?" I asked with frowned eyebrows looking at rob through the rearview mirror "this is your home miss evans" he said "it's Darlene and can you just turn the car around so we can go home please?" I said raising my voice slightly "Matthew told me to take you back home when you got out, I'm only doing what my boss told me to do" he spoke I sat there for a second trying to take it in, Matthew has finally let me go, he doesn't want me anymore, I should be happy I don't have to live there anymore but I'm not, I'm completely heartbroken "oh" was all I managed to say "your bags are in your house, goodbye miss evans" rob said giving me one single nod "thank you rob, goodbye" I said getting out of the car and shutting the door behind me rob zooming off straight after, the cold air hit my skin as I stared at my house that's been empty for months, I trailed my way up the bath to the stairs and in my door to be greeted with bags and suitcases, my house was exactly how I left it the day I left for the club, but it was dull and cold and even though it was full of things it felt empty, I walked to my crouch and sat down taking this in, then it hit me, I'm back home, I put my head in my hands and started to sob, the pain in my chest was real and I didn't know how to get rid of it, I cant stay here, my home isn't here anymore, my home is in the abandoned business building with Matthew and my friends, when I'm here I'm lonely but when I'm there I'm not, I cant not see his face again I think if I didn't I would go insane.
I sat for a while trying to think then it hit me, flashbacks of yesterday came flooding back to me, Eleanor wasn't the one who found me, it was Matthew, he sounded so broken and scared, I shot up and went to my bags that were sitting near the door, I seen that my bag with all my songs and stuff was on top of one of the suitcases so I opened it and looked through it, I emptied it out soon seeing my phone, I let out a sigh of relief and sat on the floor grabbing it and taking it off airplane mod, my phone started blowing up with thousands of notifications weather it was from Instagram Snapchat or my parents and Valerie calling and texting me, I was going to call my parents, but not right now.
I was sitting in the back of a cab making my way to the abandoned building, I had to get answers, why did he do what he did?.
I thanked the cab driver and gave him money and a tip shutting the door and running into the building passing rob and another guy wh had a big gun in his hands who was also security, I ran up the stairs finally making it to Matthew's floor, looking to my left I seen his door open "Matthew!" I yelled as I speed walked up up to his door soon stopping as I seen the sight of his apartment that was all packed up, it looked so bare, what the fuck is happening? He turned around to look at me with shock in his face "Darlene?" He said as he held the bubble wrap in his hands "what's going on?" I asked walking more into his apartment to see that Shemar was helping his pack "Darlene you need to leave, you shouldn't be here" he spoke going back to packing the boxes "why not? This is my home" I said as I started to tear up, I heart footsteps behind me so I turned around and seen everyone at the door including rob who was only probably up here to throw me out "no, no it's not" he shook his head "why are you doing this? I should be staying here and so should you" I raised my voice "no you shouldn't" he said coming over to me so he was standing in front of me "you shouldn't be here with me, that's why I let you go, you have so much going for you Darlene, I'm not going to be the one who ruins that for you, I have once and I'm not doing it again, I've seen how passionate you are about writing your songs, you need to go back home and forget about me" he said cupping my cheeks "no please, this is my home" I cried he shook his head and wiped away my tears with his thumb "not anymore" he whispered walking away from me "please don't leave me here alone" I cried grabbing his hand pulling him to face me "I would do anything for you, please don't go, i would walk into a burning fire just to save you, and if that meant I died doing it then so be it, I don't want to do this alone, I need you" I said looking up at him through my tear filled eyes "you won't do this alone, may and eleanore will be here for you but I can't" he shook his head putting his right hand on my cheek, I leaned into his touch as he looked down at me with glossy eyes "I love you" I whispered still looking at his eyes, his face dropped completely, it was anger that was on his face, it was hurt, he took his hand from my face taking a step back "you can't sit there and say you don't love me back, it wasn't Eleanor who found me it was you, I heard the way you were talking, you said you where sorry" I said as more tears fell "look me in the eyes and tell me you don't love me, and then I'll leave" I said he swallowed looking around him, he clears is throat then looked at me "I don't love you Darlene" he said shaking his head, his eyes were red and glossy as he watched me crumble into a million peace's, hearing him say that hurt more than anything "rob, take her home" he said still looking at me, I was looking at his chest because if I looked at him I feel like my heart would break into two, I felt rob take my arm and walk me out, I looked at Matthew who was standing looking at me, he looked so lost "I love you" I whispered to him, I walked out the door and seen Eleanor and Maya crying they both looked at me pulling me into a tight hug "we love you" Eleanor said handing me a bit of paper I took it and was about to walk away until I felt a tap on the shoulder, I looked beside me to see Shemar with a sad smile "I'm gonna miss you babygirl" he spoke with wide arms I let out a cry as I ran into his arms hugging him as tight as I could "your leaving to?" I asked looking up at him, he nodded his head as tears fell from his eyes, this was the first time I've ever seen Shemar upset and it broke my heart "I love you kid" he said cupping my cheeks and leaving a soft kiss on my four head "I love you to mar" I whispered as I pulled away, I walked done the stairs and looked back waving goodbye to people that have became family.
I walked into my house as plopped on the couch, I'm absolutely exhausted, I crossed my legs staring at my phone, I grabbed it and clicked on the contact, three rings and it was answered "hello" my mother spoke through the phone "hello, cherry, is that you?" My mom said slightly panicked "hey, mom, yeah it's me I'm back home" I cried with a smile happy to hear her soothing voice again.
