I cleared to my throat to grab his attention instead of saying anything. "Dinner's probably almost ready. We should head down." I chimed out loud. Katsuki didn't say anything, his back still turned to me.
A little louder, I hummed. "Katsuki?" He turned to me with the saddest look on his face, his eyes shimmering against the light. His posture was hunched over just a tiny bit, gesturing that he was very upset.
"She was so happy with him. The way she looked at him..." Katsuki stopped. I knew his heart was breaking. I wanted to comfort him, to hug him.
"I just wish... I wish she looked at me like the way she looked at Deku... even just once." I knew Katsuki was too stubborn, even in this situation, to cry. My heart ached for the blonde.
He made his way over to his bed, hands in his hair with his chest on his knees. I sighed slowly and sat next to him.
"I know that I'm not the person you want to talk about this..." I let on, looking at his ceiling. "... but I wasn't lying to you when I tell you that you will find someone." My hands were on his back, slowly rubbing circles with my pinky.
He didn't say anything. We sat in silence, acknowledging each other's presence. "Katsuki! Yona! Dinner's all ready!" Mitsuki's voice boomed through out the house. Katsuki raised his head and took a deep breath in.
I quickly took my hand back, fidgeting with it on my thigh. He looked at me and I looked at my feet. I could feel my throat aching, wanting to say something. Anything.
"Come on, Glowstick-" He and I both gasped, feeling the electricity that buzzed onto our skin when it made contact. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him. I wanted to say something.
"Don't you dare speak. Let's just go downstairs." I could tell his face was red when he looked away. I chuckled.
"What are you laughing at, freak?" he asked, getting all up on my face. I leaned away, still giggling. "Okay, okay, Mr. Tough Guy. Dinner's ready." Katsuki groaned and cursed me out on the way.
-
"So, how are you liking U.A so far?" Mitsuki said while taking a bite out of her chicken. I placed my utensils down and cleared my throat. "It's been fun. I really like the teachers and the students." I said honestly.
"Is my son bothering you or anyone else at the school?" she asked while sending a glare towards Katsuki. "Stop asking such ridiculous questions, old hag!" He growled out, holding tightly onto his fork. Mitsuki took this as a threat, standing up a little to raise her eyebrows at Katsuki.
The boy sat back down, eating his food quietly next to me. "Oh, honey! That burn on your neck... that looks recent. Has anyone been hurting you?" Katsuki and I froze. I listened for his heart beat. It was fast.
I didn't dare look over at him.
"It's nothing." I awkwardly chuckled. With the way Mitsuki is, I know that if I tell her it was Katsuki's doing, she might actually kill the boy. I shuddered at the thought.
"I'm glad you're enjoying high-school at U.A, Yona." I gave her a soft smile, finishing my food.
-
"Leave!" Katsuki growled while holding the door open. "Please! Just once!" I begged with my hands rubbing together. He rolled his eyes and sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "What the hell do you want, Shitty face? I want to go to sleep!" He whispered harshly.
It was now 12 in the morning in the U.A dorms.
"Just once! I promise this is the last time I'll make you do it!" I pleaded hard. "Why do you even want to see it, you perverted freak?" I could tell he was tired, but I was going to see it tonight. Even if just once, in my whole entire life.
"Katsuki... please." I said lowly and a bit more serious. He noticed and sighed out, grabbing his phone. A wide smile was now present on my face.
"Fine, but don't tell anyone about this. Not even Shitty hair." I nodded quickly, like an obedient puppy. The light from his phone showed Katsuki's tired features. Nonetheless, he was beautiful.
He shoved his phone on my face and I grabbed it. Staring at the picture, my heart was melting. I was about to zoom in on his costume, but he snatched the phone away. I gasped and glared at him. "That's enough. Now fo you your damn room and let me rest!" Grabbing the collar of my sweater, he pushed me out of his dorm and locked the doors behind him.
Remembering the picture he showed me, I blushed. He looked so good in a maid costume. Maybe I should buy him it for his birthday. A grin crept its way to my face, thinking about Katsuki in a maid costume.
