GINNY POV:

I wake up, the sun blaring through my window and I yawn widely. Turning to reach over and hug Harry when I realize the bedside he was on last night is empty - he's not there.

My immediate reaction is panic, and I can feel my heart palpitating in my chest heavily. Where is he now? He better not have died or some shit.

I climb out of bed hurriedly, pull on a shirt and walk out of my room quickly. I shiver as a chill passes over me, and I snatch one of Harry's hoodies from the floor.

My door creaks as I close it gently, and I creep over to Ron's room to see if Harry's there. Most of the rooms are empty, but Ron's room door is closed.

It's already 8:00 am and it's the day of Bill and Fleur's wedding, so everybody should be up by now. Mum's probably downstairs freaking everybody out, yelling at dad or something.

I reach Ron's door and raise my fist to knock on the door until I hear hushed and angry voices. Harry, Ron and Hermione. I lower my fist and lean my head into the door quietly.

"No, Ron. You could die on this mission or expidition- whatever the fuck you want to call it, and I'm not putting you and Hermione through that!" I hear Harry say harshly. Shuffling feet, and a loud clatter of books fall to the ground. "Hermione, you might as well unpack those books, because you're not coming with me - you lot need to be safe. It would be my fault if you died, we're looking for horcruxes!"

Ron sighed, "We're well aware."

"—And it would be my fault and mine only! You guys were my first ever friends! You can't die! "

Hermione sighed loudly, "You are so thick. We are coming whether you like it or not! You can't just go on a suicide mission and expect us to not and try to help! You're like my brother! There's a war going on, Harry!" Hermione exclaims, and books clatter again, I suspect she put them back into a box or bag.

"Hermione's right. We're coming. I've gotten it figured out, I'll make the ghoul in the attic my duplicate, and Hermione already took care of her parents, as you know..." Ron tries to reason and Harry huffs, I can hear him stand up.

"You lot have to stay here and make sure Ginny will be alright, they will target her - and I need her to not get hurt- I can't- ," Ron claps his hands together and stands up as well.

" She'll be alright, it's Hogwarts, the professors won't let them be hurt!" Ron and Hermione both exclaim, and Harry sighs. I can almost feel him putting his hands in his hair, like he always does when he's stressed.

" Fine. But what about Ginny? We can't just leave her all alone!" He exclaims, and I can't take it anymore. I want to know what they're on about. They can't talk about me without me there.

I take a deep breath open the door slowly. Hermione is perched on the bed, legs crossed and she's sorting out large textbooks, with strange names, some in Roman Numerals, and in Ancient Runes. The covers of some look very graphic and gruesome. Once Hermione saw me staring at a particularly grotesque cover, she hid them behind herself, and smiled uncertainly, looking at her feet.

Ron was standing up, his hands tucked in his hoodie pockets, hood over his head and covering his eyes a bit. He's leaning against the wall, his face lined with stress and legs crossed nonchalantly. He looks over at me with surprise and his body goes rigid - no expression. Clearly I wasn't supposed to hear that.

And as I predicted, Harry is also standing up, his hands in his hair, his eyes shut with stress and worry, muscles all tense. His hair was still messy, spiky and the sort, his glasses crooked and it looked like he hasn't eaten in days. How could I have not noticed? His pulls his hair and then lets them down.
