DISCLAIMER! I AM GOING TO BE COPYING THE WORDS FROM THE REAL KISS SCENE IN THE BOOK AND ADD SOME OF MY OWN WORK INTO IT. ALL RIGHTS GO TO JKROWLING
ALSO THIS BEGINS RIGHT AFTER HARRY RETURNS FROM HIS FIRST DETENTION WITH SNAPE!*************************
Harry trudged up the staircases to Gryffindor Tower, his mind whirring in anger and bitterness, all directed towards Severus Snape, his taunting voice echoing in his head.Your father and Black never could fight by themselves, could they? It was always four on one, wasn't it? Cowards.
Harry's blood boiled.
How charming, James Potter and Sirius Black charged with three weeks of detention, for the hexing of a sixth year boy... quite the role models you'd want.
He clenched his fists.
Your father always did strut around, acting as if his mere "talents" sufficed for his arrogant attitude... and Lily chose him...
He muttered the last bit, not really remembering that Harry was in the room, leaving Harry confused. Lily chose his father, James? Over Snape? How had Snape even become an option for her to choose? He had to bite his tongue from asking questions, because he knew he wouldn't be able to control his anger.
Harry stomped up the stairs, his scar aching, and he wrenched open the Portrait after grumbling the password.
Thankfully, the common room was empty, so he threw himself onto the couch before the fire, and pulled out his Transfiguration essay.
He couldn't focus. He kept hearing faint voices in his head, from the common room and from Voldemort. He was angry, and this time he saw flashes of Lucius Malfoy, pleading or something... and another flash of Draco Malfoy nodding... he shook his head. This is how Sirius died. You can't let him in.
Harry packed up his work, knowing that he wouldn't be able to focus anymore, that his thoughts were too much for him.
"You liked him while we were dating!"
"No, I didn't!" Someone replied angrily, "I was dating you, wasn't I? Not Harry!" Ginny's voice rang in anger, and Harry stopped in his tracks, heart beating rapidly. "Is this the only reason that you wanted to meet up? Not to apologize for being a jealous and controlling douchebag? You acted as if I was a child, couldn't do anything on my own!"
"Well, right now, you are!" Dean responded.
"I'm not looking to play this game with you anymore." Ginny hissed, "Get to the point before I have to lose more sleep because of you." Ginny finished, and Harry could tell that she looked very intimidating at the moment, and Harry could almost feel the glare she was giving Dean.
"Is Harry the reason we broke up?" Dean asked, his voice shaking. The silence was the loudest sort of answer Ginny could've given, and Dean sighed.
"It's okay. I get it." He said a little angrily, and once he left, Harry could hear Ginny mutter insecure much?
Harry bit back a laugh, and tried to go back to his book quickly, remembering that Ginny had to cross his path to go back to her dorms.
She walked in the common room, and once she saw Harry she flushed furiously. "Did you," She paused nervously, "Hear all of that?"
Harry met her eyes, and knew he couldn't lie to her.
"Yeah, I did." He twisted his fingers, "Sorry, I didn't know that you were meeting up." Ginny shook her head and plopped down on the couch next to him, her face set into a scowl, her eyes dark and angry. (His heart started beating rapidly).
