Bharat's sleepy eyes just fully opened.. He could not believe it. He was going to Gurukul now. Around him Shatrughan was dancing merrily as usual. They went to Ram Baiyya and Lakshman's room .
" I can't believe we are going so soon. The festivities of our birthdays were just over. I will so miss mother's and father",Shatrughan cried.
Ram held his little hand and smiled. He always had a comforting to which would bring people to ease.
" Well I think I'm going to love it there.. it is a pity that our parents won't be there but on the bright side baiyya is with us, so why worry?"
" You are right Lakshman. We all have each other and Ram baiyya will take care of us"
Their parents were in no better state than Shatrughan. They hugged them and kissed them till their cheeks became red.
** the princes reached the ashram**
Lakshman thought it would all be fine but a strange worry came over him. He wouldn't have his mother Kaikai fussing over baiyya and him. He missed Sumitra Maa and Kaushalya maa .
"Are you alright Lakshman baiyya?",questioned Shatrughan.
"Oh my Lakshman, you are feeling homesick", remarked Ram.
"Uh.. I thought it would be Bharat baiyya who would be missing her Mathara ", joked Shatrughan.
Bharat gave the ' don't you dare tease me ' look.
Lakshman smiled.Ram have him a big hug and the other two joined. Bharat was in a particularly good mood and suddenly over coming his shyness started tickling Lakshman. He laughed. His brothers were with him. He felt carefree again.
