Chapter 5

"Ahh! It's here it's here it's here!", Mabel said while running down the hall. I sighed and both me and Dipper rubbed our eyes. "Okay, so I was just opening random doors - because I'm a creep - when I found something amazing!", she explained.

"If it was worth waking up at seven AM for, that better will be amazing.", I said yawning. When did I even go to bed? "Feast your eyes!", she said while opening a door and revealed a closet full with fireworks. "Woah!", both me and Dipper exhaled. Mabel put a hand on our shoulders.

"Guys, we're thinking it.", she grinned. "Crazy rooftop fireworks party!", we said together. "Not so fast, kids! There is no way on earth you're setting off those dangerous, illegal fireworks...", Stan said while marching up to us and then bowing down to our level. "...without me.", he grinned. We gasped amazed and ran up the roof giggling.

"Here you go, sweetie. Set something on fire for your Grunkle Stan.", Stan said while lighting Mabel's skyrocket. " I AM THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION!", she screamed. I had an icy-pop in my hand. Two police officers who might be Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland appeared.

"Hold on a minute. Do you have a permit for those?", Blubs asked. "Uh..", I said licking at my ice cream. "Uh, do you have a permit for being totally lame?", Stan asked and we laughed. "Heyoooo!", Mabel laughed again.

"Well, I can't argue with that. Carry on.", Blubs chuckled. "But seriously, we should clean this mess up.", Stan said as he stopped laughing. He seemed a bit off today if I may say so...

There were small fires all around the Shack. "With water balloons?", Mabel asked. "I don't see why not.", Stan grinned.

We ran downstairs and made Waterballoons. Mabel was running after Dipper right now who was laughing. He turned around, threw a balloon at her which went about a foot before falling onto the ground. "Seriously?", he said.

Then Mabel hit him which knocked him over. "Hit!", I laughed. "Ah. This is what Saturdays are for. Doing dumb things forever.", I heard Stan say. The Pines twins jumped onto all the water ballons. "DUMB THINGS FOREVER!", they yelled and a lot of water splashed at me. I was totally wet now. I'll need to change clothes before I'll get sick.

"Woah, there!", Stan laughed as a splash of water hit him. Mabel held up an icy-pop. "To Grunkle Stan! Not just a great uncle..." "The greatest uncle!", continued Dipper. He and Mabel threw water balloons at Stan. He laughed. "Alright, alright. I tell you it's unnatural for siblings to get along as well as you do."

"Ha-ha! Don't worry. We've still got plenty of summer left to drive each other crazy!", Mabel grinned and attacked Dipper with a hug. Dipper pushed Mabel away with a water balloon, which landed on her face.

Stan laughed nervously and frowned. "Yeah, plenty of summer left.", he mumbled. I looked at him with furrowed brows. What's wrong with him so suddenly? He rubbed the back of his head. "Kids, there's something I, uh, something I should tell you. It's um..." He stopped and rubbed his chin. "Well it's complicated. I... I'm gonna go refresh my soda.", he said and walked away.

"What's so complicated about refreshing a soda?", Mabel asked, tilting her head confused. Dipper slapped his forehead. I still looked into the direction Stan walked to.

Suddenly a few helicopters were flying above us and lots of agents surrounded us. "What is happening?", I asked scared. "What the-?", Mabel gasped.

"Kids are secure. Roof team! Go!", one of them spoke into a walkie-talkie. Several agents came down from the helicopters. We backed up.

Stan was being led to the government vehicle. "Ugh! Hey, hands off, you stooge!", he yelled. An agent plated his head onto the car. "Aah! I don't understand! What did I do that warrants this much arresting?", he called out and we stared at him in shock. Stan was a criminal? I mean, okay Mabel already told me a few weird things he has done. Like... stealing puppies. But what could he have done to get arrested by the government?
