The peachy sunset from earlier had now turned into a magnificent starry-black sky with the full moon glowing it's light on the grounds of the school. Rosemary couldn't help but look up to the sky and notice how many stars were freckled above her, hearing the sounds of howling in the distance snapping her out of her trance.

There was only a couple of students strolling around the corridors, laughing and ignoring Rosemary's panicked stature. She waited, leaning on the stone wall trying to seem as casual as possible until the group of fifth year Hufflepuff's passed her and were now completely out of sight.

Once she thought the area was clear, she started walking towards the green field behind the school on her way to see her friends. She was worried that Sirius and Peter wouldn't be enough all on their own to tame the beast tonight in their Animagus forms, so she knew once detention was done she'd catch up to them as soon as she could. Just before she was going to walk on the path to her destination, a bony grip had latched itself around her wrist tightly, spinning her back around.

"You're going to see Lupin in the Shrieking Shack tonight aren't you?" Severus sneered, still gripping the girl tightly and towering over her. She was positively confident she thought the surroundings were clear, so to her surprise, there he was standing in front of her asking all the wrong questions.

Rosemary noticed he was holding a small item in his right hand, unable to make out what is actually was. He slipped the item in his pocket giving her the opportunity to quickly grab her wand and point it in his direction.

"Let. Go." She warned turning to him fully and pressing her wand in the middle of his chest. He clenched his jaw shut, his lips forming a thin line while taking a step back away from her unleashing his grip. Her mind was completely elsewhere, filled with a great deal of anger towards Severus. No matter what they did, he would never leave them alone, not even for one night. She slowly lowered her wand once he was at a reasonable distance away from her.

"Did you wait out here in the cold all this time until our detention was finished? Are you mad?" She asked judgingly, looking at him in disbelief for how obsessive he could actually be sometimes. He simply stayed quiet for a moment, deepening his glare and now answering Rosemary's question for her with frustration.

"So what if I did?"

She scoffed trying to hold herself back from laughing in his face. "You are imagining things, Snape. Nobody is going anywhere, understood?"

"You expect me to believe that? You Marauders always think you are so invincible don't you? Acting like you're above everyone else, when nothing but lies ever leave your mouths." He answered shaking his head and trying to walk around the girl to the Shrieking Shack himself. She quickly jumped forward and stood in front of him again, blocking his path.

"Listen Severus, you're wasting your time... believe me." She replied with sincerity in her tone for once, making him feel even more tense than earlier, not believing a single word she said, stuck in his stubborn ways.

"You can keep acting like you don't, but you know exactly what is going on, Merlow. It's only a matter of time before I find out." He stated confidently walking passed her and leaving the scene for good.

Rosemary let out a long sigh that she didn't even know she was holding in her chest, now having to worry about the fact that Lily Evans had practically confessed to her and James tonight that she was aware of Remus' secret, and now Severus Snape had made it very clear he would never stop harassing them until he knew the truth. It was much easier to hide things for Remus when everyone was just little kids and clueless about the dangers of what he would turn into every month, but now that they had all grown up into very bright young wizards it was getting harder and harder to outsmart those that were now putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
