Uncertain (Tom Holland x Reader)

Chapter 10

Y/n POV: 

After the 2 weeks we spent in London we had to come back to L.A although it was hard once we arrived at L.A  Tom had come to pick us up. The car ride to my apartment was bit awkward though I didn't talk much.

 I wanted to tell Tom about my relationship with Charlie but I just couldn't. Once we got to my apartment haz was going to be staying their in my spare room and then Tom stayed for dinner.

He called Zendaya to see if she wanted to come over and of course she came. Zendaya was nice but she didn't quite like me I wasn't sure why but one of the reasons was because I was too close to Tom and apparently I would end up being mentioned in their arguments. While we waited for Zendaya to arrived Tom asked us how our trip to London was and how everyone was doing.

After about 30 minutes Zendaya arrived and we ordered food since it was a bit late already. We decided to watch a movie while we ate and it was awkward. After a while I got a call from Charlie and he asked me if I arrived safely and we talked for a little before I went back until Zendaya asked me if we could talk and haz was just as surprised me.

 "Hey y/n can we talk?" Zendaya asked.

"uh um yeah sure" I said ask we walked to my room in silence.

"Y/n I know you like Tom like more than friends that's why you always end up being mentioned in our arguments" she said in a calm voice she didn't sound mad at that fact.

"Zendaya I promise you that I don't like him. I mean I loved him before for a while but he's moved on with you and he's happy that's what matters" I said.

"y/n don't understand I see the way the you guys look each other. Wether you guys see it or not" she said in a sad tone.

"Z I don't think Tom has ever looked at me the way he looks at you. I have to admit at first it hurt seeing the boy I loved with someone else especially since we hadn't been talking but I noticed how he looked at you and how happy he was there was nothing but love in his eyes. He's never looked at me that way." I said knowing deep down I still loved him but I was happy with Charlie.

"I love Tom you know y/n Im happy with him. I just hope you right Im sorry for this we can go back now" she said shyly.

"Its fine" I said trying to hide the fact that I was hurt.

Zendaya POV:

Tom and y/n had been friends for a long time and I knew the had history. Jus by th way y/n looked at him I could tell that she had feeling for him I just never said anything but Id somehow end up bringing her up in arguments.

I saw how she talked about the way he looks at me trying to reassure me that tom doesn't and probably never felt the same way about her. I could see the pain in her eyes but I wanted to be with Tom I was happy.

Once we finished talking I apologized and we went back to the living room.

Y/n POV:

Once we got back to the living room Tom and haz just looks at us and asked if everything was alright of course we said yeah. I feel like haz new something happened though but decided to wait until later to mention it.

After the movie Tom and Zendaya left and I knew Harrison would want to mention what happened earlier and ask me to tell him what happened.

Harrisons POV:

Once everyone left and it was just y/n and myself I knew I had to ask her what Z wanted to talk about I knew something was wrong so I ask. 

"Hey what did Zendaya want to talk about?" I asked y/n.

"Oh um well it had to do with Tom and she knew that I like Tom" She said while looking down.

"What do you mean what did she say" I said with a confused tone.

"Well she said she knew I had feelings for him and then when I answered her she told me that I don't understand that she sees the way me and Tom look at each other with love in our eyes wether we see it or not" she said holding back the tears but I could hear the pain in her voice.

"Y/n she said that to you but why would she say that I mean Tom is happy with her" I told her not understanding why Z would say that.

"Well after I explained how I see the way Tom looks at her and the way he looks at her Tom has never looked at me like that haz why would Z think that its obvious that Tom is involve with her not me you can tell just by the way he looks at her god I even told her how much it hurt seeing the person you love with someone else but you knew they were happy and you were moving on but I don't know haz" she said crying it hurt seeing her like that.

I went to her and I hugged her she needed comfort right now I knew she was with Charlie and she was really happy I mean I was glad he asked her he's a great guy but deep down there still some part of her that loves tom no matter what.
