(In the game, it's set in 2023. But for now I'll set it in 2020/modern day.)
On the archipelago of Auroa lies the home of Skell Technology, founded by the man himself, Jace Skell, who is also the CEO too. He's known for he development of autonomous vehicles including autonomous drones armed with guns and says that they'll serve humanity peacefully. However, tragedy struck not too long ago. A political candidate was shot and killed by one of the armed autonomous drones, and a cargo ship called the USS Seay sank into the sea near the archipelago. Then, all contact with the island and the inhabitants are cut off from the rest of the outside world. Now it's up to a platoon of 32 Ghosts to re establish contact and investigate why the drones have targeted the candidate that was assassinated.
