Ghosts Of Auroa

3. Storming

(Time to reveal your Ghost OCs skills to you HalfLifeMan and LordRedsontlborn!)

After their talk back in Erewhon, the Ghosts take a small helicopter to get to their destination which isn't so far from them. Ryder looks out the window as he's piloting the chopper.

Ryder: "Huh. the view of this archipelago is surprisingly nice from up here."

Tido looks out and sees a base on the ground. He grabs his binoculars and looks at it and sees soldiers working for Sentinel.

Tido: "Sentinel soldiers... Hey! Ryder, look down."

Ryder stops the chopper and looks outside. He grabs out his own binoculars and looks down. He zooms in to get a better look and sees Sentinel Soldiers unloading cargo from some trucks.

Ryder: "Sentinel. They seem to be unloading some sort of cargo off their trucks. Alright guys, we're going to storm this base and have a look around. hang tight, I'll get this thing to land."

Tido: "Copy that."

Jamie: "Roger."

Ryder lands the chopper not far from the base and the Ghosts get off the chopper and they load their guns. Jamie loads their M4 and Tido loads his AK-12. Ryder grabs out his G36C and loads it and puts on some tactical headphones. Then, all 3 Ghosts soldiers proceed to move to the base slowly. The base has a gate which leads to the road next to it. However the Ghosts decide to break in with brute force, using explosives. As they move on, an unarmed security drone is flying in the air. The Ghosts then prone on the ground and cover themselves in dirt and mud.

Ryder: "Down, down."

Tido: "Gimme a sec."

They get down and the drone doesn't see them. It then flies back to base and the Ghosts get up and they reach the fence of the base.

Tido: "Ok so, Ryder, how are we going to do this?"

Ryder: "Take 'em by surprise. Stand back."

He plants a C4 explosive on the fence with a guard on the other side who's looking the opposite way. The Ghosts get behind a rock nearby and Ryder presses his detonator, causing a large explosion to occur and killing the guard that was on the other side. The Ghosts then charge and open fire, alerting Sentinel and killing most of their soldiers.

Sentinel soldier: "We got hostiles! Watch o- AGH!"

Ryder: "Kill 'em all! MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!"

*BANG*

*BANG*

*BANG*

Jamie: "Eat this!"

Jamie stabs a soldier in the neck with their karambit and pulls the karambit out by slitting the soldier's throat. A sentinel soldier charges at Jamie to knock him out only for Jamie to dodge his attack and headbutt the soldier before moving to the side to cut his leg and slit his throat.

Jamie: "Gotcha!"

Meanwhile, Tido is shooting more Sentinel soldiers before he grabs his knife and evades a soldier's attack and grabs the soldier by the head and stab them in the collarbone dozens of time. He grabs a Sentinel soldier and uses him as a human shield. Tido grabs his pistol and shoots 4 Sentinel soldiers down while they try hitting Tido without trying to kill their comrade.

Sentinel Soldier 2: "DON'T SHOOT! DON'T SHOOT!"

Tido: "Shut up!"

He then knocks out the soldier and shoves him onto the ground before rolling to cover and shooting down the Sentinel soldiers. Ryder savagely stabs a Sentinel Soldier in the face and slits a soldier's throat. He then looks up and sees a Sentinel helicopter.

Sentinel helicopter pilot: "Targets are in sight!"

Ryder: "Shit. Tido! Now is the right time for you to use your brand new RPG!"

Tido: "On it!"

He grabs it and aims at the chopper and fires away at the right time and he shoots the helicopter's tail off and it spins as it crashes and blows up.

Ryder: "Nicely done! Alright let's take care of these remaining hostiles!"

Jamie uses their pistol and shoots 2 Sentinel Soldiers and there are 2 Sentinel soldiers left. One of them is an officer. The other soldier gets up to flee only to get shot in the head by Jamie who's using their sniper rifle. The officer is then grabbed by Ryder who holds him by the neck and aims at his head. Ryder then hits the officer's head with his pistol.

Ryder: "You better explain what's going on, otherwise you'll have to be picking up the pieces of your skull up from the ground."

Sentinel officer: "I-I don't know! I wasn't informed about these!"

Ryder: "Wrong answer. I will ask you one more time. My patience died yesterday. So if you answer this question wrong, you'll be on the ground with a hole in your head."

Sentinel officer: "OK! OK! They're equipment! Guns and vests and all that shit, alright?! COME ON!"

The officer starts crying and his pants are seen getting drenched by his own urine. Ryder then looks at him disgusted. Tido and Jamie watch in shock.

Ryder: "You f*cking worm. You piss your pants?"

Sentinel officer: "I DON'T WANNA DIE MAN! COME ON!"

Ryder: "Alright then. Here."

*WHACK*

Sentinel officer: "AGH!"

He knocks out the Sentinel officer unconscious and drops his body onto the ground.

Tido: "Jeez..."

Jamie: "That was a little over the top, Ryder."

Ryder: "What? I did shit like that back in Syria. Hell, even in the Middle East. Now, let's see these crates. I don't feel that for that guy anyway. These animals killed our soldiers too."

Ryder walks to one and opens it up, revealing some helmets and bulletproof vests. He then grabs a gun from the crate. A desert eagle pistol.

Ryder: "Huh. Not bad."

He puts it in his backpack and he grabs out a black baseball cap from the crate.

Tido: "That hat looks like it suits you Ryder."

Ryder: "Hm. I guess so."

He takes off his tactical headphones and puts on the hat before putting on his headphones again. Jamie and Tido look around the area and Jamie sees some files on a table in a warehouse, they grabs out their phone and takes pictures. 

Jamie: "Hm, interesting information."

Tido looks around another warehouse and looks at a pin board and he grabs out his phone and takes some pictures too.

Tido: "What is all this?"

Jamie: "Info most likely. It sure can come in handy though."

Ryder: "Are we ready? Let's go."

The Ghosts leave the base and head back to the helicopter to resume their mission.
