Turns out, we hadn't been sent to Sanctum. We had been sent to Earth. When we had arrived here yesterday, I almost cried... Monty was right; while we were gone, Earth had come back.
I felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to jolt awake, panic filling my body. I looked around, my heart racing when I heard Octavia's voice.
"Aiden, it's okay. It's just me," she reassured. I let out a quiet breath as my body relaxed.
When I looked up, I saw that the rest of our friends had joined us. I felt a smile form on my face as I stood up, embracing Emori in a hug. After a few seconds, I hugged Murphy who was beside her. I hugged Raven next, my eyes searching for the one person I wanted to see right now. I furrowed my eyebrows slightly in confusion as I turned to Clarke, letting go of Raven.
"Where's Bellamy?" Clarke's face fell as sadness took over. I gave her a confused look, worry starting to course through my body.
"Clarke?"
It took a few seconds but Clarke answered. "Dead."
My body froze as my world shattered into a million pieces. I stared at the girl in front of me, not knowing what to say. I don't understand... He was alive the last time I saw him.
"Bellamy?" Murphy asked confused. "Clarke, he was fine when we left. I'm a little confu--."
"I killed him," the blond girl interrupted, tears forming in her eyes. A lump formed in my throat as my sister looked at Octavia and I, her eyes filled with tears. Octavia stepped toward her. My entire body shook as my world fell apart beneath me. "I had to..."
"Why?" I asked in disbelief, my voice breaking a little. Tears blurred my vision as Clarke answered me.
"Madi's sketchbook. He had it, and he knew that she still has the memories of the commander. She would never be safe. I begged him to stop. I tried to get the book back, but he... I tried everything, I promise. I tried."
Clarke had started crying. Everything around me disappeared as I stared off into space. It was like-- like I died. I feel like I died with him... Bellamy, the man I fell in love with all those years ago, my best friend, my soulmate... I felt a tear slip from my eye as I tried to wrap my mind around the fact that Bellamy was dead. Actually dead this time. But, I just couldn't do it.
My heart pounded in my chest, so loudly I couldn't hear myself think. My whole body shook as my breathing quickened. No... He can't be dead. After all this time, after everything we survived... It can't be true.
Clarke's voice suddenly filled my ears, causing me to look at her, inhaling sharply. "You can hate me if you want to. God knows I do."
I held back my tears as I spoke, my voice breaking. "The Bellamy we knew and loved died a long time ago. It's not your fault, Clarke..."
I pursed my lips as I walked toward Clarke and Octavia, pulling them into a tight hug.

"No one wants to live here, but it will do until we build our own shelter," Gaia stated. Oh, I forgot to mention that Gaia had fallen into the bridge and was transported to Earth with a disciple, whom of which she killed. "There's a river close by, so there is plenty of drinking water."
"What about food? You check the hydrofarm?" Jackson asked curiously.
"Nothing. That whole level was destroyed in the fire."
So many bad things happened in this bunker... So many things I wish hadn't taken place. Maybe if they hadn't happened, all the current events wouldn't have taken place either.
