How are you doing? I hope your holidays are going great.
I don't know if this will come as a shock to the readers of this book or not 😂 but I have decided to rewrite this book yet again. This has to be the hardest book I have ever set out to write.
This is the third time I am writing this book. They say the third time's the charm. So let's see if it will be true for this story. Hopeful hearts.
As you will realize, I have removed most of the chapters and will start again in the New Year by the grace of the almighty God.
One thing I learned while writing this book for the four years 😂😅 yes four years. I'm sick of writing this book. But I realized that it is not by force 😂😅. I learned not to force things. I forced stuff with this book. The story refused to take shape for the longest time.
But I kept forcing it. I wanted to write this book before I started my Perfection series. The Perfection Series features Adunni and Mike's children.
However, Adunni and Mike have a fractured relationship twenty years from now. 😂 Don't mean to spoil anything. But I wanted to understand why any couple would live like they would when their relationship was a love match. What spoils a relationship like that?
But it was so hard guys, so hard to understand what was going on in their relationship. Believe it or not, they were not as talkative as my other characters. Even their son is more open than they are. Lol
Every arc I tried on for them just didn't seem right for them. I don't even remember the first draft at this point. Lol 😆 But there is light at the end of the tunnel after all. Because I finally figured out why nothing I tried was working.
So I have restructured this story yet again. I think I am finally on the right track this time around and I am finally excited about this book.
