Chapter 1: Meeting Stefan and Damon

A/N: Yes there will be changes but for the better! The Mysterious Cat (original) will stay up and this will be the remake. I'll continue The Mysterious Wolf and there will be a remake of that as will :3

Most of the charecters belong to the respectable owner LJ Smith and the CW. BUT Cat is mine! And so are any of my other OC :3 thankies!

    I ran through the woods my black hair going behind me from the impossible speed I was going at. Just a little father and I'd make it to someplace I'd get answers, someplace I'd get help.

    I ran a little longer and a huge house came into view and I sighed in relief, I finally made it to the Salvatore boarding house, even though I had never been here before from my friends Alexis's description it was exactly what she told me. I walked at a normal human pace to the door and knocked. I was beyond nervous.

    "Hello?" A guy around seventeen answered with green eyes and brown hair. I looked behind him to see a guy with raven black hair and blue eyes. He was drop dead sexy.

   "H-hi....umm my name is Catrina Clearwater." I stuttered, "You don't know me but I've heard of you. "I'm a vampire...I know your vampires because my friend Alexis is a witch."

   The green one's eyes went wide and I heard a hiss from ice eyes. "I know it's rude of me to just come ask for help but I'm desperate. I just lost everything."

   "Umm...well hi. I'm Stefan and this is my brother Damon." Stefan introduced. "Why couldn't you stay in..."

   "Rock Creek." I told him.

   "Rock Creek exactly?" Stefan asked.

   "I killed somebody there and my friend Alexis said you may help." I said sheepishly looking at the ground.

   "Yeah well help." Stefan told me.

   "Stefan...may I talk to you for a moment?" Damon asked.

   "No Damon, you may not. She is a Clearwater, remember Aria?" Stefan hissed.

   Damon's eyes widened and I gave them a questioning gaze and Stefan moved over allowing me to enter. The house was made of wood panels and the furniture had a historic look to it. The main room had leather chairs and couches with a fireplace in it and a bar.

   "How long has it been since you fed?" Stefan asked.

   "Since I left five days ago." I answered looking down at my shoes.

   "It is defiantly taking its toll." Stefan mumbled, then I heard something land on the table and I saw a blood bag.

   "Maybe she wants to feed on animals..."

   "EWW NO!" I screeched making Damon laugh.

   "How did you die kid?" Damon asked.

   "First off my name is not "kid" it is Catrina or preferably Cat and that is not something I want to share." I answered glaring at him.

  "You can tell us Cat." Stefan smiled and I sighed.

  "Fine," I sighed, "I killed myself okay? And I had vampire blood in my system so I came back to life."

   "You killed yourself then came back to life? Fail." Damon scoffed and Stefan shot him a glare.

   "Why did you kill yourself Cat?" Stefan asked.

   "My adopted parents told me my real last name...and well they left." I told him.

   "I'm sorry," Stefan told me. Then Damon was eyeing me well holding what looked like alcohol.

   "Can I have some?" I asked.

   "Aren't you a little young?" Damon asked.

   "I'm almost seventeen." I mumbled, "Guess I'm sixteen forever."

   "No, alcohol is a bad idea," Stefan told me.

   "Stefan here is a party pooper," Damon told me.

   I sighed and imagined a drink in my hand and in seconds I felt a cold a liquid in my hands. My eyes shot open and I almost dropped the glass.

   "That is impossible." Stefan answered.

   "Guess not brother."
