Chapter 9:  Guilt is a real b*tch

     It was early in the morning and I didn't sleep at all last night. I looked at the rising sun and sighed, I needed human blood, fresh from the vein or it was going to kill me. I texted Klaus telling him I was going to meet him at ten in the morning and texted back saying that is great and where to meet him. I changed into jeans, ankle boots, a black shirt that had a blood red heart on it, and my leather jacket. I then jumped out the window and left, I used the air to soften my fall and not wake Stefan or Damon.

     I ran toward the woods and jogged down the trail a ways then I smelt blood. A woman was hurt and I sped toward her.

  "Hello," I said to her.

   The woman with dark brown hair jumped and looked at me turning around to reveal a scraped knee, "Oh my God you scared me!"

  "You should be scared." I mumbled.

   "What did you say?"  The woman asked. My face changed and she let out half-of-a-scream then I dug my fangs in her neck then killed her.

      The blood controlled my bloodlust a little bit but I felt guilt for killing the innocent woman. I then tore up the body and threw it in the trees. I noticed I had blood on my jeans and swore, Damon and Stefan were going to kill me, wait Original compulsion. NO! No Catrina you are not going to compel Stefan or Damon.

  "Damn it...." I mumbled under my breath.

   It was nine-thirty and I barely made it in time to the place Klaus asked me to meet him.

  "Klaus?" I asked then two figures came out of the woods and my eyes widened, "Elijah?"

  "Hello love," Klaus greeted.

  "Hello Cat," Elijah greeted also.

  "What do you need to tell me Klaus?" I asked.

  "You are half witch, as you know...." Klaus started.

  "So?"

  "But you are also part werewolf."

  "We think your mother was a witch...."

  "And you father was a werewolf." Elijah finished for Klaus

  "Now that is impossible." I stated.

  "The legend was two girls were going to be born...."

  "Two?"

   "Yes you have a sister named Krystal but we have no clue about her whereabouts and you should not search for her." Klaus told me, I could tell he was starting to get impatient, he always got that look on his face of anger and agitation, "Now let me finish. The legend says two girls were going to be born and they were going to have three sides, if they choose. One evil, one pure and they were twins."

   "I have a twin? An evil twin?" I asked in shock.

   "Yes you do," Klaus told me, "just stay away from her."

   "Why?" I asked, "She is my sister."

    Klaus walked up to me, "Remember."
