   "So Damon and Stefan are vampires?" Elena asked frowning after I explained everything to her.

   "Yeah...Elena, please don't hate Stefan he really loves you." I sighed leaning against the bed.

   "But he is a vampire! He kills people!" Elena exclaimed.

   "Actually he drinks animal blood." I corrected.

   "Really?" Elena asked and I nodded. "So you guys are not even related?"

   "Nope." I told her, "I'm actually part witch."

   "Let's get some sleep." Elena finally said and I nodded tiredly.

The Next Morning

   I woke up to hear Elena in the shower about twenty minutes later she came out and smiled at me.

   "You never told me what your dream was about." Elena told me.

   I let out a long sigh, come on Catrina you have a friend you can tell, you can't talk to Damon about it so why not talk to Elena about it?  I thought to myself. "I dreamed I killed my parents, my father backhanded me and I attacked him. My mom came in and called me a slut then I attacked her and killed her too."

   "Did they actually hit you when you were human?" Elena asked.

   "Y-yes." I sobbed and I felt Elena's arms wrap around me and I cried.

   "Why don't you talk a counselor or somebody?" Elena asked.0

   "And tell them about the whole supernatural world?" I asked. "Ha."

   "What about Stefan?" Elena asked.

   "He is your boyfriend Elena."

   "And practically your brother. I trust you, I thought about it after you fell asleep, I trust you and Stefan." Elena smiled, "What do you think Stefan is going to do?"

   "For starters, he is going to kill me." I answered, "So is Damon."

   I yawned then smelled coffee downstairs. I sighed and got ready taking a shower and magically drying my hair. I changed and went downstairs to find Stefan and Elena talk. I gulped.

   "How did you get ready so fast?" Elena asked.

   "Vampire and witch remember?" I said, deciding to break the news to Stefan in a heartbreaking way.

   "You told her Catrina?!" Stefan hissed.

   "Try me bunny eater," I growled, Stefan came toward me but Elena went in between us.

   "Stefan it wasn't Cat's fault!" Elena told him. "I still trust you."

   "What do you mean it wasn't her fault?!?! She told you!" Stefan said trying to keep his voice low.

   "Stefan she had a dream last night that she killed her parents and her control slipped." Elena explained, "Stefan her parents beat her."

   Stefan's eyes widened as he looked at me. "Is it true?"

   I just nodded.

   "I'm sorry Cat, why didn't you tell Damon or me?" Stefan asked and I looked away from him.

   "Damon knows," I mumbled.

   "How long?"

   "Ever since we went back to Rock Creek to investigate my parent's murder," I answered.

   "He hasn't even tried to help you?" Stefan exclaimed.

   "Your parents were murder?" Elena gasped.

   "Stefan, Elena I don't want to talk about it," I told them sternly then headed out the door and got in the backseat of Stefan's car crossing my arms over my chest. I got my iPhone out of my bag and put my headphones in listening to music.

    The rest of the day was less eventful than yesterday, I almost got suspended for breaking Tyler's nose but worked my way out of it, with a little compulsion. Nothing could ruin my mood.

   "Hey Cat were heading to the grill do you want to come?" Elena asked.

   "Nah I have a lot of homework," I answered and Stefan raised an eyebrow. Personally, I didn't want to be around people right now.

   "Oh okay," Elena said frowning.

   "I'll just walk home Stefan," I told him waving goodbye to them. I headed back to the boarding house and I saw Damon's car parked in the driveway. I let out a long sigh, of course, he had to be home. I walked inside with my head held high. Once I got inside and quietly shut the door Damon's head automatically popped up and he glared at me. I shot him a glare back. In seconds I was pinned up against the wall with my arms above my head.

   "Don't you know how much I care about you?" Damon hissed and I could smell the bourbon on his breath.

   "You only care about Katherine and yourself Damon." I spat at him. I saw anger and a flash of hurt go through his eyes. I struggled with his grip but it was no use.

   "Cat I loved her! Have you ever lost anyone you loved before?" Damon asked.

   "Damon..." I started. 

   "Cat do you?!" Damon shouted making me wince internally and externally.

   "Damon you are scaring me!" I yelled fighting back tears, "But yes I have lost someone I loved."

   "Then you know the pain," Damon whispered, I saw the hurt show in his eyes and my eyes mimicked the pain. I could see their forest green reflection in his icy blue ones.

    "And the mixed feelings," I mumbled then I saw compassion in Damon's eyes and he leaned in and kissed me. That's when I used my magic to push him off and run toward the woods.

    A couple of minutes later my phone started vibrating.

   "Damon I don't want to talk to you..." I started.

   "This isn't Damon." The familiar voice said.

   "Where do I know you from?" I asked.

   "My name is Klaus, you dated my brother Elijah," Klaus said and I gulped.

A/N: YUP! Decided to throw that in early and I'm not rushing Cat and Damon's relationship this time around either :)
