“Are you alright?”  Sarah was concerned and started to rub Harry’s back as he threw up on the side of the road.   He shook his head as he wiped his mouth with the inside of his shirt.  Sarah walked back to the car and found a bottle of water that was in the console cup holder.

“Thanks.”  Harry said embarrassed as she squatted in front of him to give him the bottle of water.  He sat on the ground and held his head in his hands.

“No more tacos for you, I guess.” Sarah tried to make him laugh, but could tell he felt miserable.  “Come on.”

She held out her hand and led Harry back to his car on the side of the road.  She opened the passenger door and helped him in.  Sarah walked around to the driver’s side and slid inside carefully. Harry had reclined the passenger seat and was facing away from her.

“Let me take you home. Where do you live?”  Sarah asked and realized that she didn’t even know if he lived in L.A. or not. Harry held up four fingers.  “Does that mean exit four?”  Sarah laughed.

Harry groaned.

The two drove in silence, as Sarah knew how awful Harry felt. She had food poisoning once on vacation and realized that Harry would not have been able to drive himself home after dropping her off.

She pulled up to an iron gate and she typed in the code that Harry held up on his cell phone.  She knew if he opened his mouth to speak, he’d most likely get sick inside the car.  Sarah gagged at just the thought.

The gate opened slowly and a large white house greeted her. There was another car in the driveway, so she parked closest to the front door.  As she placed her hand on the driver’s side door to get out, she reached over, touched Harry’s back and told him to wait for her, so she could help him inside.

As they walked up the few steps from the driveway into the large house, Sarah was saddened that this was how the amazing day had ended. She had wanted to invite Harry back to her apartment and wanted to see if the electricity from the other night would have continued between them. She had been thinking about his lips since they first kissed and knew she wanted more. She wasn’t the type of girl to initiate any thing with a guy but knew that Harry was different. He seemed just as shy as she was. Perhaps, she needed to get up the courage and do this relationship a little bit differently.

Harry typed in the alarm code and shuffled inside.  Sarah was closing the front door and as she turned around, her eyes widened at the size of the house.   The front foyer was spacious and to the right was a large living room with a huge flat screen TV and leather couches.  She glanced further into the house and saw a beautiful oak dining room table with hutch.   To the left of the staircase, there was a long hallway, which she thought, might lead to the kitchen.  “Does he live here alone? It’s massive!”

She noticed Harry sitting on the bottom step of the tall staircase and walked over to him. She rubbed his back for a minute, before saying; “Let’s get you to bed. Point me in the direction.”

He had his head in his hands and he pointed up.  Sarah was amazed and couldn’t stop looking around at all the personalized items hanging on the staircase walls: photos, album covers of different well-known bands, and personalized letters in frames.  She lifted him as best she could, as he threw his arm over her shoulder and walked with her up the stairs.
